Maybe making them pets would help?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 13, 2021 10:22 PM |
And how many millions of years have they survived? Humans suck.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 13, 2021 10:23 PM |
Yes, it's time. They terrify me. Please take iguanas next.

We destroy everything. No respect for nature or life.

That’s what I look like Sunday morning.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 13, 2021 10:29 PM |

Didn't DL fave Sharon Stone attempt to feed her husband to one of these creatures?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 13, 2021 10:45 PM |
R11, she looks like a Komodo Dragon these days.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 13, 2021 10:47 PM |
Couldn’t Mother Nature take Imagine Dragons instead?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 13, 2021 10:47 PM |
R11 see R10 see R9
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 13, 2021 10:49 PM |
Don't they smell like rotting flesh and have bacterial, fatal bites?
Meh
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 13, 2021 10:51 PM |
They really are adorable. I love their stubby little legs
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 13, 2021 11:03 PM |
R15 Yes, that's how they do their prey in, by biting them and letting the extremely nasty bacteria from their mouths bring about their prey's demise.

Wasn’t this the premise of a movie with Matthew Broderick and Marlon Brando?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 13, 2021 11:09 PM |
Yes, “The Freshman”. I just looked it up.
With Bert Parks singing “Here she is, your Komodo dragon…”
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 13, 2021 11:10 PM |
These things are brutal.
But I’ll never be where they are so I don’t care if they remain in existence.

Extinctions have been a natural part of our planet's evolutionary history. More than 99% of the four billion species that have evolved on Earth are now gone. At least 900 species have gone extinct in the last five centuries. It is part of the cycle of life, adapt or go extinct, a message the human race should learn.
