I am not going to re-read every fucking thread. I just want to know which one of you nasty bitches figured it out before the authorities, the NYTimes, and 💄 Alley.
Who called it first with the Murdaugh family?

Quit start multiple threads.

Use a fucking gerund, Mary

Here's a link to the new site that broke all the details.
Allegedly the dad has confessed to having an opioid addiction, something he admitted when he was allegedly forced out of his law firm on Friday after the firm confronted about missing millions "which may run into eight figures".
Not only is his story about being shot the next day being questioned, but allegedly his watertight alibi regarding his whereabouts on the day his wife and kid were killed is no longer looking so watertight, this per the reporter who wrote the attached story.

Called what, exactly? The suspicion with his being shot in the head? Or are you saying you believe something more sinister besides what's in that article?

Do we thing the death of Alex' father was murda?

by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 7, 2021 2:43 PM |
Actually I appreciate a summary thread.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 7, 2021 2:48 PM |
Same, r7. But no one has a comprehensive summary. I have no idea who the Gibsons are, who is gay, etc.
I just know the dad did it.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 8, 2021 1:42 AM |
R8, it's hard to summarize because there are many bizarre details, and no one knows which ones will ultimately be relevant. The Murdaughs are an immersive experience, not a coherent narrative.

Here comes the made-for-streaming movie, with Nicole Kidman and James Corden playing the redheads.

I had originally pictured Margo Martindale as the mother but now I am realizing that she is too old.

This casting game has made me realize that I know very few young actors by face or name. The knee jerk pedo accusers will be delighted (or maybe disappointed).
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 9, 2021 9:10 PM |
Sounds like a must miss movie for me.

Where's his girlfriend? A dumbass like this ALWAYS has a girlfriend

This needs to be a musical first... The Sound of Murder? Red, White, and Trash? Lil Opiod?

I Know Who Killed Me
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 10, 2021 4:39 AM |
If someone had had the guts to take that child down to the wine cellar...
None of This Would Have Happened.
(This narrative lacks a strong determined female lead.)
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 15, 2021 3:04 AM |
The strong determined female lead was ejected early on...

Let us know when he admits to killing the wife and other son.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 15, 2021 12:40 PM |
So the dad killed the maid, then the wife (but mistakenly the son) for insurance money for his drug habit? And the other son is a fuck-up, but otherwise has nothing to do with it? Then the dad decides to run one last con, even though if it had worked, he wouldn't even be alive to see it?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 15, 2021 12:48 PM |
wow. Murdaugh not too bright.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 15, 2021 3:18 PM |
He actually deserves a Father of the Year trophy.
Allowing someone to kill you so your son can get $10 million? Adopt me!
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 15, 2021 3:40 PM |
He should have spent some of that inheritance money to hire a better hit man.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 16, 2021 3:29 AM |
But who killed Stephen Smith?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 16, 2021 3:45 AM |
I don't believe this latest story for a minute. He killed, or paid to have killed, his family. The police were getting close, so he cooked up this attempted assassination scheme to divert suspicion.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 16, 2021 3:54 AM |
r27, I agree
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 16, 2021 4:05 AM |
Was anyone sodomized?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 16, 2021 4:08 AM |
Stephen Smith accidentally ran into a blunt object.
I know, because I was there.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 16, 2021 4:14 AM |
I thought it came out that he hired that hit man (who looks like one of the Darryls from the old Newhart show) to stage a murder attempt.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 16, 2021 4:15 AM |
So the lawyers would like us to believe that this fake assassination attempt was because the embezzlement stuff was coming out. Had nothing to do with guilt over the murders.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 16, 2021 1:13 PM |
I used to love the Sunday night movies, this story would be perfect as posted above.
