I have anxiety too, and it can indeed be "crippling."

I've learned to drink to calm my nerves. But of course he's just a kid, so unless he did drugs, he probably just dealt with his stress and anxiety as best he could.

R41, doesn’t your anxiety skyrocket the morning after drinking? I drank to deal with my anxiety for years too, but the next morning anxiety became too much. I would wake up at 4am with my heart beating out of my chest, reliving every mistake I’ve ever made, and feeling suicidal. I discovered that I was better off dealing with my anxiety with weed and Xanax.
