As a soap watcher-critic who's interested in the overall genre, one might feel compelled to watch several episodes of B.S. just to see what it's about. Thank god this "several" was only five episodes, though. That was enough.

It rates a C+ for me. The +plus+ is only because casting did its job by finding Hot Sonny, signing Peter Porte, and luring back Eileen Davidson. If those three elements were now added to the main show, I might reconsider it.

btw - One can't even say that TPTB are trying something new or different here. Days already did the "Last Blast" thing less than two years ago, which was a streaming-only show on NBC.com. The network simply changed its platform name to Peacock. .. And as for the story itself, the press has referred to this as a "90s style caper." So nothing new on that front either.
