I’m not Canadian but we get it here. It’s pretty unremarkable, but they do show Coronation Street as a quaint holdover from when Canada was more influenced by Britain and British immigrants (Boots, Marks & Spencer’s etc. once had stores in Canada and are long gone). Now not even Britain feels particularly British.
