by Anonymousreply 4July 23, 2021 1:24 AM

One fewer Trump voter!

by Anonymousreply 5July 23, 2021 1:25 AM

R5, thank you for using “fewer”.

by Anonymousreply 6July 23, 2021 1:28 AM

Strange and sad too. He tweeted the anti-vaccination rubbish in early June and was diagnosed with covid at the end of June.

So, no vaccine ?

But also, no masks?

No social distancing?

Makes no sense.

by Anonymousreply 7July 23, 2021 1:31 AM

Here's the Twitter account. There are descriptions of his worsening condition, and many prayer requests. He should've trusted science, instead.

Also don't understand why treatment hasn't improved for covid patients, at least in the US. I thought the ventilators worsened the condition of the patient? That seems to be the case here.

And idiot trash Justin Bieber, I think, R16.

by Anonymousreply 17July 23, 2021 2:23 AM

R17, and that pedophile rapist minister in Brooklyn.

by Anonymousreply 18July 23, 2021 2:27 AM

I bet Beiber and his idiot wife have not been vaccinated and all they have been doing is traveling around.

by Anonymousreply 19July 23, 2021 2:27 AM

The Twitter response is harsh.

by Anonymousreply 20July 23, 2021 2:51 AM

I’m overwhelmed by the kindness shown by so many of you over these last three weeks. You have no idea, truly, how much every text, dm, voice txt, video, or FaceTime call to pray has meant. I’m sorry if I haven’t responded to you, it just drains a lot of my energy to even text.

I have no sympathy for these people who refuse the vaccine. Last year I had sympathy, now if you are in the hospital from covid and you didn't get vaccinated you deserve your damn Darwin award. Good riddance.

by Anonymousreply 26July 23, 2021 3:16 AM

"Is there a website or subreddit that is tracking all of these and keeping them in one spot?"

That would be Datalounge. This is the 146th Covid thread today.

by Anonymousreply 27July 23, 2021 3:17 AM

I feel pity for this man. Yes, we all have personal responsibility but no-one wakes up as stupidly blinkered and cavalier as he seems to have been. He’s been brainwashed by religious leaders who treat their faith not just as a source of morality and inner strength, but as a death cult which removes our ability to think rationally in our best interests.

And above all he has been betrayed by rightwing media and politicians, who would rather see him die than accept help from a government run vaccination program.

It took a lot of people to kill this man, and they will kill a lot more before the pandemic ends.

by Anonymousreply 28July 23, 2021 3:26 AM

So you're having breathing problems?

Don't feel bad for ya son!

I got 99 problems

But Covid ain't one!

by Anonymousreply 29July 23, 2021 3:29 AM

People that stupid and self-centered can only make the world a better place by leaving it.

by Anonymousreply 39July 23, 2021 5:11 AM

[quote]He’s been brainwashed by religious leaders

Don't even try this bullshit. That relieves him of his responsibility and puts the blame on others. He made his choice. And then he taunted the rest of us with his cavalier attitude. He tested God and came out on the losing side. In other words, he fucked around and he found out.

by Anonymousreply 40July 23, 2021 5:17 AM

Justin Bieber left Hillsong church last year and doesn't believe in the concept of organized religion anymore. They lost all of their celebrity members when the scandal broke.

by Anonymousreply 56July 23, 2021 11:41 AM

You are right, R55, and your post is a good reminder that we are talking about a human being here. A deplorable one, but still a person.

I am the first to say “good riddance” when an anti-vaxxer dies. But then I think of how helpless and lonely those people must feel in their last, gasping moments..

Ugh 😣

by Anonymousreply 57July 23, 2021 11:47 AM

Reading the reply linked at r43 has made me lose any pity I had for him when I first read about this.

by Anonymousreply 58July 23, 2021 11:55 AM

R55 It is terrible. But he chose to have that happen to him. Had he simply been vaccinated, he wouldn't have died like that.

How many people did he expose, both in and out of the hospital? How many children under 12 who cannot be vaccinated did he put at risk.

Once again, masking and vaccination aren't just for you, they are for the community. Every additional case not only increases spread, but is another chance for the virus to mutate into a new form against which the vaccine is not efficacious.

If I was a parent of a kid under 12 I cannot imagine being willing to send them back to school this year.. Not with all of these selfish, willful idiots out there, and hypocritical vaccinated GOP leaders feeding their stupidity.

by Anonymousreply 59July 23, 2021 12:22 PM

As one of the Twitter replies said, paraphrasing:

If this idiot had lived, he would’ve touted it as a miracle from god and the power of prayer and still would say vaccines are unnecessary, only prayers and “faith.”

by Anonymousreply 60July 23, 2021 12:36 PM

Hell needed another shithead!

[quote]If this idiot had lived, he would’ve touted it as a miracle from god and the power of prayer and still would say vaccines are unnecessary, only prayers and “faith.”

So are so right.

This guy survived and he's still an idiot. You can't save stupid. The Trumpets and those with vaccine hestiancy are stupid and if they do not care about themselves, then we just need to cut bait and let them go. With the exception of children and those with compromised immune systems, if you haven't gotten the vaccine... then I hope you've made end of life arrnagements, just in case.

by Anonymousreply 75July 23, 2021 4:30 PM

I think what's so galling is that these people all made sure, every single day, that you knew they had a choice to vaccinate and they chose not to, loudly and frequently, and tried to get others to not vaccinate, too. It's difficult to have sympathy for them, even though they are human beings.

You needn't wait, r92. Her challenger is already calling her out on it.

[quote]“I am one of those non-vaccinated people that Governor Ivey just scolded,” George said in a statement. “Unlike Governor Ivey I respect everyone who gets the vaccine as well as those like me that choose not to get the vaccine for various reasons. A governor should never belittle the people that disagree with her.”

[quote]George said he had a tough bout with COVID-19 last year and had fever for about seven days. Because of that, he said he believes he probably has antibodies to fight off the virus. But he said he would probably not receive the vaccine even if that was not the case, partly because he’s not in a high-risk population for serious illness from COVID. “I just don’t see the need in healthy people like myself being vaccinated,” George said. “And that’s my opinion. But I respect people that choose to be vaccinated. It’s just a personal choice. Kind of like the free enterprise works in Alabama.”

I saw an interview with a woman whose unvaccinated daughter was in the hospital with Covid. They asked the mother whether she was going to get vaccinated now, and she said, “Oh, no.
