I truly hope Jamie Spears (Dad) and famile, are nailed to the Wall for what they did to Britney and that all the attention given to this case, brings about some long overdue changes needed in Custodial Care through Legislation.

The condo isn't owned by her sister. It is owned by the family trust set up with Britney's money, and her sister is allowed to live there. Whether she pays rent or not, the asset is owned by Britney's trust.

This is SOP in families with money and/or assets they want to shelter, including those headed by wealthy celebs.

It may be that Britney doesn't want her sister living there. Fine - kick her out and find someone (else?) to rent it to.

I think a lot of people forget or weren’t around when Britney had her very public acting out episodes. Back then noone knew that she had serious mental health issues and it just seemed like she was another entitled star actinf crazy. Mentally ill people often think they are far more competent than they really are. The conservatorship with Jamie has run its course, but I suspect Brit is too ill to be in complete control. I really don’t want to see her unhinged again or dead. It seems that it is time for Daddy Spears to step down and let the court handle things.

R18 - you are wrong. Read the articles. The condo is owned by the trust, which is Britney's. It was not given to her sister. It is still the property of the trust. Jamie has been allowed to live in it, but she does not own it.

Again - it may be that Britney doesn't want her living in it, but that's a different and smaller issue than the false claim that Jamie owns the property purchased with Britney's money.

Nothing in that article says WHEN the condo was purchased, ie before or after the conservatorship. Likely before as its listed in Britney's assets as of 2009.
