I am not an anti-vaxxer, but for what it's worth, I talked to one of my clients on the phone the other day who is a woman in her 60s—she told me she had her second dose of the vaccine in February, but contracted COVID in June and was hospitalized for it for two weeks. It can happen.

Second, for some people, even if they're vaccinated, if they have secondary health conditions like diabetes or are very old. they have a higher risk of death than someone who is unvaccinated but has no risk factors.

I guess in the U.K. there have only been 50 deaths in people who had both their vaccination shots, all people over 50. Another 67 who only had one shot died. A scientist who said that if you do "back of the envelope calculations" it was actually expected to be more like 1100 deaths in the vaccinated, but it's only been more like 110, or 10% of what was expected.

Getting vaccinated DOES NOT mean that you can't catch the virus. HOWEVER, if you do, the symptoms will be milder. I have no intention of testing this theory, but if it happens, I'm glad that I got Moderna-ed.

A colleague caught it last month, two months after his second shot. He is mid 40s, overweight, and diabetic. He was unlucky to catch it, but if he had not been vaccinated then the outcome would likely have been much worse.

Some had symptoms, all got tested, and many in that large group were positive for Covid. They quarantined. They all recovered. One guy from a different group got it a week and a half later. He got pretty sick for about a week. But no hospitalizations by anyone. All gay, all vaccinated, and the age ranges are: a few late twenties, mostly thirties and forties, and the one who was sickest is in his fifties.
