Who needs to see the damn movie when it's pretty much all there in the trailer?!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | June 25, 2021 2:01 AM |
R2 I know what you mean. They should not have shown ANY of the kills, goddammit!
by Anonymous | reply 3 | June 25, 2021 2:02 AM |
I heard Kyle Richards is fantastic in this!!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | June 25, 2021 2:11 AM |
There's one murder in particular I want to see!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | June 25, 2021 2:59 AM |
I thought the original remake was way over hyped, but I don't think they gave too much away in this trailer, personally. This one is supposed to be much more heavy on the carnage,
by Anonymous | reply 6 | June 25, 2021 4:07 AM |
The firefighters scene is an homage to the H6 doctor scene 😏.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | June 25, 2021 5:08 AM |
I love all the nods to the other films, and that string arrangement of the Halloween theme is fantastic (why hasn't that been done before?). That said, as is the case with most, the trailer shows way, WAY too much.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 25, 2021 5:10 AM |
Taking bets on how Kyle Richards is gonna die: - Stabbing? - Strangling? - Beaten to a pulp? - Decapitation? - Garrotting? - Neck Snapping? - Drowning? - Some combination of all of the above?

I can't help but wonder if Laurie Strode is going to finally die in this one, ending the "series" with a hard-hitting bang (even though she already died once in "Halloween: Resurrection," which now no longer counts.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 25, 2021 5:21 AM |
I'm glad they brought back Kyle Richards for this. IIRC, she seemed a bit miffed that she was passed over for the 2018 remake. Other than being a "Real Housewife," she hasn't done anything of note in years. This should bring her some positive attention. It's also nice seeing Nancy Stephens is returning.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 25, 2021 5:24 AM |
Could be entertaining. Could become campy and ridiculous the more they expand Michael Myers with supernatural powers.
I'm expecting mediocrity because that's what the last one was.
However, I do like how the story picks up at the exact moment the prior film ended, like a lot of slashers in the early '80s (including HALLOWEEN 2).
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 25, 2021 6:02 AM |
Laurie Strode "finally died" in HALLOWEENS 5 and RESURRECTION, r10.
Nothing and nobody ever really dies in showbiz.
Blumhouse signed up for HALLWEEN ENDS after this movie, so I wouldn't bet on Strode dying until that installment.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 25, 2021 6:06 AM |
Are you talking about HALLOWEEN 2018, or Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN, r6?
Remember, there are 13 of these suckers and multiple reboots. Most of it is a shitshow!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | June 25, 2021 6:15 AM |
R14 Lies! As I noted in the other thread:
The Halloween franchise is like a peacock plumed with iridescent feathers that shift and sparkle with varying degrees of color and depth. Each film is a morsel of horror goodness and guilty pleasures, and there is at least one catered to and representative of each fan or potential fan.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 25, 2021 7:23 PM |
Michael Myers is a mean old man!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 25, 2021 7:26 PM |
Buddy, get a life! You're too easily amused.
If these franchises don't attain some standards of quality, they will lose audiences big enough to justify making them.

R17 Speed KILLS!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 25, 2021 7:38 PM |
I'm glad they referenced Season of the Witch. That movie wasn't perfect, but I've always had a soft spot for it.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 25, 2021 7:39 PM |
Shouldn't Michael Myers be geriatric by now? He should be at home in bed taking his Lipitor and Metamucil.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 25, 2021 7:44 PM |
I want to ride Michael’s cock.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 25, 2021 7:45 PM |
Michael Myers is the same age as Steve Buscemi, Ted Levine, Dolph Lundgren, John Turturro, Daniel Day-Lewis, Frances McDormand, Melanie Griffith, and Fran Drescher.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 25, 2021 7:49 PM |
In this current timeline, Michael is 61.

Am I the only one who didn't like the last Halloween movie?
This looks like it might be a bit better.
??????
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 25, 2021 7:54 PM |
The last Halloween movie had a couple decent moments but overall it was really stupid.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 25, 2021 7:56 PM |
I would go to the theater for this… to hear the cheers when Kyle’s character bites the dust.

"GOODBYE, KYLE!"

R24, I thought it was much overhyped as well, but yet way more solid than the previous sequels.
David Gordon Green was initially on board to do the remake of Suspiria, which I was adamantly against at the time since I only knew him from Pineapple Express. But as it turned out Luca Guadagnino totally fucked that up in the long run, imo.
Halloween Kills looks like an improvement, and I'm excited for the vicious kills.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 25, 2021 11:29 PM |
Guadagnino's SUSPIRIA was fine, the critics liked it.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 26, 2021 12:24 AM |
It was horrible, R29.
Will DL's Halloween Loon insist that JLC be given the Oscar again for this film?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 26, 2021 12:28 AM |
"Will DL's Halloween Loon insist that JLC be given the Oscar again for this film?"
Why, yes. Yes, I will. JLC takes Laurie Strode on a complex, multi-dimensional, emotional, cathartic journey.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 26, 2021 12:44 AM |
Did JLC force any more "alcoholism" messages into the script this time?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 26, 2021 12:47 AM |
I thought the "Suspiria" remake was way better than David Gordon Green's "Halloween" reboot. I suppose it's a poor comparison though—"Suspiria" was an arty horror movie, whereas "Halloween" 2018 was a straightforward slasher flick.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 26, 2021 2:18 AM |
R21 I'd gladly ride his cock if this is what he had underneath his coveralls
by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 26, 2021 2:22 AM |
There's a lot hotter guys out there doing Michael Myers parody porn.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | June 26, 2021 5:18 AM |
Halloween porn? Hell no 😂
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 27, 2021 3:22 AM |
Jesus it looks more violent and graphic than all the other Halloween movies rolled into one. Hope Laurie cuts his head off in the final one, obviously making sure it’s him, as a homage to h20. Then cuts his limbs off and a knife right through the heart.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | June 27, 2021 3:45 AM |
Does Kyle Richards ever talk about Halloween?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 27, 2021 3:49 AM |
r36 is way behind the curve if he doesn't realize there are multiple porn parodies or remakes of every franchise nowadays.
I know of three, feature-length pornos spoofing HALLOWEEN, not to mention many of the one-off scenes that companies do.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | June 27, 2021 4:54 AM |
R39 Yeah, I am definitely not a porn connoisseur.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | June 27, 2021 6:36 AM |
The last one was about as scary as an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, but this one looks like it could be fun. I like that they're bringing back more characters from the '78 movie.
Judging from the pictures I've seen of her on the set, it looks like that's Nancy Stephens hung from the swing set in the Silver Shamrock witch mask, so I guess she'll be biting it just like she did in H20.

Stop reading this thread unless you want the plot of HALLOWEEN KILLS completely spoiled for you.
Remember the Halloween Loon dirty-bombed the HALLOWEEN 2018 threads with the ending and all the spoilers before that movie opened, thanks to Google and the comments left by film festival viewers.
Don't make the same mistake — just ignore all HALLOWEEN threads and the Halloween Loon until after you've seen it.

Will it show in theaters? Imagine the cheers when Kyle Richards is offed.
