Any thoughts, opinions, or experiences regarding this particular car? I am thinking of trying to find one.

Here's my opinion on entry-level Mercedes: Don't buy one. You will pay a lot of money to get a car with a small engine and few luxury options just so you can drive a Mercedes. You should save your money for a proper Mercedes (E, S, ML, G, SL) OR buy an optioned-out Honda with leather seats. If Mercedes were a designer clothing company then the GLK would be the $400 pair of sunglasses bought by middle-class posers. Don't buy one OP.

GLKs of the final three model years are quite reliable. My best friend has a GLK and loves it, although she does complain about routine maintenance costs. They are definitely NOT luxury vehicles; more like a premium economy car. I certainly wouldn't buy something that old unless it is a certified pre-owned with a comprehensive warranty.
However, the tech is quite outdated at this point. For example, a new entry-level VW Taos or Kia Seltos has better tech/safety features and the peace of mind of new car ownership for around the same price as a used MB.
Personally, I don't care for the 250 Blutec diesel, but the 350 gas V6 is quite good.
