It doesn't bother me. UEFA's position is that they are an apolitical organization, and to light the stadium in rainbow as a response to Hungary's bigoted new law would be a clear political statement.

As long as they're applying this policy across the board, they've done nothing wrong.

This is nothing as UEFA championship is only between European nations where homosexuality is legal ( even in Hungary ) and many already recognized gay marriage. I have been called a "faggot" by my roommate's half-Hungarian cousin and she has been called "dirty Latin and degenerate American half-breed" after saying she thinks gay marriage should be legal. Honey, there is a European MAGA here that is very vicious and gay men are their favorite target. I was told to hide my sexuality because it is the safest thing in Hungary and Hungarian villages. Here or in Slovakia, though homophobia exists, nobody really dares to say anything because the law will act.
