Fast zombies just don't work. In "WWZ" Pitt's entire plane would have been dead in three minutes. If you can't out run a zombie you have zero chance for human survival. It's a stupid concept anyway.

Fast zombies worked just fine in WWZ and Hack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead. They are scarier.
It all just depends on the creator and both can be scary.

There's more than one type of zombie. Zombies with different origins have different traits.
Some zombies were created by voodoo. Some were created by toxic waste. Some were created by viruses; each different.
They're not all going to operate the same way.
