Antidepressants that stop you from cumming.

Are there antidepressants that let you get hard but then keep you from having an orgasm?

by Anonymousreply 46July 4, 2021 9:38 PM

Cocaine comes to immediate mind.

by Anonymousreply 1June 2, 2021 10:46 PM

JLO comes to mind.

by Anonymousreply 2June 2, 2021 10:50 PM

Bonakil

Erectofale

Dicolimpasil

by Anonymousreply 3June 2, 2021 10:53 PM

Pretty much all of them. Are you looking for a treatment for PE...?

by Anonymousreply 4June 2, 2021 10:54 PM

Bovina

by Anonymousreply 5June 2, 2021 10:55 PM

That sounds...depressing.

Prozac baby

by Anonymousreply 8June 2, 2021 11:04 PM

I was on Celexa, and had delayed orgasm (which was nice). Now I'm on Zoloft, and it takes so long I lose interest.

by Anonymousreply 9June 2, 2021 11:04 PM

Lexapro never prevented it for me, but it definitely took a lot longer, and not in a pleasurable way.

by Anonymousreply 10June 2, 2021 11:07 PM

OP - you are describing a side-effect caused by 90% of anti-depressants.

by Anonymousreply 11June 2, 2021 11:10 PM

The only one that reliably doesn't seems to be Wellbutrin. Are you looking for like a edging pill or what's goin' on?

by Anonymousreply 12June 2, 2021 11:11 PM

I second R9 - Zoloft means you don't cum for 30 minutes after you start trying.

by Anonymousreply 13June 2, 2021 11:15 PM

I had a problem with Celexa. Fluoxetine (prozac) and Paxcil CR had no problems.

by Anonymousreply 14June 2, 2021 11:17 PM

Zoloft. Might as well chop off your dick.

by Anonymousreply 15June 2, 2021 11:20 PM

Most of them but Wellbutrin in unique in several ways. Research others’ experiences with it and talk to your doc before trying. Also most I’ve tried (Celexa , Lexapro, Prozac) reduce the sex drive to a degree, but it’s actually not so bad.

by Anonymousreply 16June 2, 2021 11:26 PM

Escotalepram made it hard to cum but added Vyvanse to the mix and I've never felt so alive and damp

by Anonymousreply 17June 2, 2021 11:27 PM

Damp R17?

by Anonymousreply 18June 2, 2021 11:37 PM

Effexor.

by Anonymousreply 19June 2, 2021 11:40 PM

No one wants to hear about r17 "damp" details, r18.

by Anonymousreply 20June 2, 2021 11:41 PM

Not antidepressants, but blood pressure medications totally kill my libido and erectile ability.

by Anonymousreply 21June 2, 2021 11:42 PM

Zoloft is the worst.

by Anonymousreply 22June 2, 2021 11:47 PM

Okay, isn't it time to tell the poor fire-starter OP about your skin grafts, dear ones?

by Anonymousreply 23June 2, 2021 11:47 PM

I'm taking Lexapro, and it seems to be helping, but it's also making cumming nearly impossible now.

by Anonymousreply 24June 3, 2021 12:11 AM

Had to look up Vyvamse.

It's for hyper-hypos.

by Anonymousreply 25June 3, 2021 12:21 AM

Turns out for me that Lexapro was the one that had the least impact on by load blowing. I think you just have to try different ones until you find one that works best for you.

by Anonymousreply 26June 3, 2021 1:22 AM

Agreed R22. I stopped taking it because of the issues it caused. At 30 - who the fuck wants your cock to stop working and your sex drive killed.

by Anonymousreply 27June 3, 2021 1:27 AM

The Lexapro is really helping my anxiety, but I'd really like to have my sex drive and ability to orgasm back.

by Anonymousreply 28June 9, 2021 11:16 PM

Zoloft, for sure

Cymbalta doesn’t affect my ability to orgasm and I’m taking a huge daily dose -120mgs, twice what most ppl take

by Anonymousreply 29June 9, 2021 11:19 PM

Zoloft, and Cymbalta (for spinal pain): Sometimes I cums and sometimes I don’t.

by Anonymousreply 30June 9, 2021 11:20 PM

Which one is supposed to make some guys hornier?

by Anonymousreply 31June 18, 2021 6:16 PM

R27 - my sister's husband takes Prozac and has for 7 years and hasn't had issues (which is good, because he wouldn't take it forever and drove her nuts forever because he was afraid of these issues). Finally, it got to the point that my sister said she can't be his wife, anti-depressant, cleaning lady and cook and a mother. If you need help, you just go get it.

by Anonymousreply 32June 18, 2021 6:24 PM

R31 Wellbutrin. Can confirm.

by Anonymousreply 33June 18, 2021 6:38 PM

Prozac made it hard to cum

by Anonymousreply 34June 18, 2021 6:45 PM

Did Wellbutrin cause hair loss?

by Anonymousreply 35June 18, 2021 6:50 PM

Pristiq makes me horny!

by Anonymousreply 36June 18, 2021 6:52 PM

Another vote for Zoloft. When I was on it, I had to concentrate to hard to cum, and even then, it took forever. Took it for two years and have been off for about 10. Orgasms have never been quite the same since, sadly.

by Anonymousreply 37June 18, 2021 7:11 PM

I used to take Zoloft, it made me not come, or it made me reverse-ejaculate.

by Anonymousreply 38June 18, 2021 9:35 PM

Lexapro has killed my ability to cum during sex. It also reduces my sex drive. Masturbating is like scratching an itch and cumming doesn’t even feel like an event anymore. Why can’t I be happy and horny?

Would Wellbutrin counteract the unwanted side effects of Lexapro?

by Anonymousreply 41July 4, 2021 8:21 AM

Sometimes Wellbutrin is given in conjunction with other things to ramp people up a bit.

by Anonymousreply 42July 4, 2021 8:29 AM

It’s sad really most of these drugs cause more issues than it’s worth :(

To me it provides a false sense of security. I was on Lexapro for years and it turned me into a alcoholic and gained a tonne of weight.

Stopped taking it to try Prozac but that had awful side effects. So I gave up.

It’s been three years now since I’ve taken anything and haven’t drank since either. I’ve lost a lot of weight and my libido is awesome.

The caveat however is I’m miserable most of the time and anxiety is through the roof. But I’m still looking into other homeopathic ways to deal with my depression. Oh and I’ve become agoraphobic as well. The Pandemic doesn’t help either.

But hey I look good right.. lol ..

Can’t win it seems.

by Anonymousreply 43July 4, 2021 10:08 AM

Zoloft and Celexa definitely caused this for me. My doctor ultimately switched me to Prozac, which I've been on for 5 years now. No cumming side effects thus far.

by Anonymousreply 44July 4, 2021 11:08 AM

MDMA, for sure.

by Anonymousreply 45July 4, 2021 11:09 AM

Pristiq is da shit
