There’s an epidemic of people going to stores
What is up with this creepy epidemic of people going to stores? Every time I go to the grocery store, or Target, or Hobby Hut, there are people walking around in them for no reason. I used to never see someone walking about in stores, but this is a whole other phenomenon. It's disconcerting to walk into a store and be surrounded by people on all sides. I don't feel safe.
What the hell are they doing? Don't they have something else to do?

Recently at Big Lots I was chatted up by a kinda cute straight guy while we waited for the same employee to return from the back of the store. Ran across him again this past weekend at Home Depot.
Fate?

R3 it was still called shopping.
I say this as a former mall rat in my youth.

R2 I can get behind most of your argument, but “ho ho ho ho ho ho-ho-ho, ho ho ho ho ho ho-ho-ho” is just taking it too far.

I hate those crowds of people milling around stores so much that I've taken to hiding out in my parked car.

What scares me is that, all of a sudden, when I turn on the TV moving pictures appear, like tiny people doing all kinds of weird things! WHAT'S GOING ON IN THIS WORLD???
