Are witches still necessary?

You can always check google or some search online for what's what, seances, spells etc.

I can't think of any reason to consult a witch any more.

by Anonymousreply 37Last Friday at 11:25 PM

This post is stupidly funny! Nicely done, OP.

by Anonymousreply 104/30/2021

I guess the next thread will be:

[bold]Are wenches still necessary?[/bold]

by Anonymousreply 204/30/2021

No. We have Lana Del Rey for that.

by Anonymousreply 304/30/2021

witchy good times

by Anonymousreply 404/30/2021

[Quote] I can't think of any reason to consult a witch any more.

Why not? People consult priests and rabbis.

by Anonymousreply 504/30/2021

I'm not a witch, I"m a bitch

by Anonymousreply 605/01/2021

Pointless witchery.

I don’t use watches anymore. I just look at my phone.

by Anonymousreply 905/01/2021

You say that, but you come sniveling in the night with your miserly offering when your crops aren't coming up properly.

by Anonymousreply 1005/01/2021

R9, I look at my witch

by Anonymousreply 1105/01/2021

Are there any witches in contemporary children's books? I loved them as I kid.

by Anonymousreply 1205/01/2021

DL is the new children’s books

by Anonymousreply 1305/02/2021

It seems to be the new kabbalah for the housefraus. They like fitting in some spellcasting in after their morning muffin and scrolling through their instagram mommy group posts.

Witchiepoo is monitoring this thread.

Congratulations, OP, now you've killed Witchiepoo.

Pat yourself on the back, douche!

WORDS MATTER, OP.

by Anonymousreply 1705/03/2021

As long as scapegoats are needed, yes. So, forever unfortunately.

by Anonymousreply 1805/03/2021

Pffft!

WORMS MATTER, R17

by Anonymousreply 2005/03/2021

And I'm still here.

by Anonymousreply 2105/04/2021

I'm quite necessary. How that applies to other people, I don't care. It's none of their business.

by Anonymousreply 2205/04/2021

I believe there are some people that have a natural ability for making spells come to fruition more than just an every day, random person performing an incantation. I also believe there are some people that "know" things without others telling them about it. If you choose to call them witches, so be it.

by Anonymousreply 2305/04/2021

I see around corners

by Anonymousreply 24Last Wednesday at 3:37 AM

Do we still need this thingy that's been around for thousands of years?! People all over the world still use it I guess but INTERNET! 😁😮

by Anonymousreply 25Last Wednesday at 8:35 AM

witches don't need a internet

by Anonymousreply 26Last Wednesday at 10:02 AM

Did some spellwork myself recently, to deflect negative psychic attacks coming at me from venomous family members. Just protection wards and some basic binding, nothing harmful or malevolent. Seems to be working quite nicely, so far....

by Anonymousreply 27Last Friday at 12:27 PM

OP is Saul

by Anonymousreply 28Last Friday at 12:30 PM

R22 then you know Mountain Conjure? If so, I’d love to hear your stories, or even glean some knowledge (if I may be so bold...).

As a hillfolk magic-user & Pagan myself (British, though, not American), I feel very connected with and fascinated by mountain magic/country footwork & witching traditions, and also the history & folklore of your beautiful region. It’s my dream to visit West Virginia one day, too. I feel your home region and mine (also Western) have a lot in common.

On my bookshelf are tomes about my loc superstitions and magic practices, as well as an altar. If anyone would like to know about English rural cunning, please AMA.

by Anonymousreply 29Last Friday at 12:31 PM

Pffft, OP. Typical outsider assuming what subject matter experts do is easy or uncomplicated, while bitching that people have NO respect for what THEY do.

"Obama is black, so how difficult could all that Presidentin' be?"

That is how we got 45.

by Anonymousreply 30Last Friday at 12:42 PM

OP is Derwood Stevens.

by Anonymousreply 31Last Friday at 12:58 PM

most people know a witch

by Anonymousreply 32Last Friday at 6:11 PM

Which witch?

R31 I see you, Endora.

by Anonymousreply 34Last Friday at 6:40 PM

All witch services have been completely digitized.

by Anonymousreply 35Last Friday at 8:07 PM

I had a work friend concerned somebody was sending him negative vibrations and thinking bad things about him. I told him they’d opened a doorway and doorways work in both directions. He could torture them with one of his yoga chants until they went fetal on the floor.

He thought I was a genius witch. What a muscular, handsome idiot....

by Anonymousreply 36Last Friday at 11:01 PM

I don't want to be OP after the next New Moon.
