Well, that escalated quickly.
Video: Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer thrown out of pub over lockdown row

Starmer seemed to have such promise but somehow it's all gone south for him. That said, the Conservatives have plenty of time to fuck up before the next vote too.

Well, SOMEBODY thinks they're Peggy Mitchell...

I mean how is the Labour guy responsible when they haven't been in power for years?

Starmer is a failure, but this story only happened because the other man is a Trumpian idiot and a Covid denialist. That said, it is going to add to Starmer's image as weak and lacking in personality.

Starmer has consistently forensically pressed Johnson at PMQ and challenged questionable policy. He didn't deserve that showboating, let's say over-emotional, attack.
Needless to say, the PM as man in charge hasn't faced so degrading an assault, and nor has his henchman Cummings. I hope Johnson is proud of the simmering hostility he's created as he blusters in the Commons. The buck stops with him.

Typical Labour in every respect. Milquetoast leader and shrill female handler, and then the thug manhandles the landlord on his own property. And, no, I don't agree with all of what he was saying.

Starmer's biggest problem is that he's just so bland and charmless. He didn't attempt to speak to the landlord at all, he was utterly condescending. Then he has the stupidity to attempt to enter his property? He just looks like an out of touch toff, which of course Boris is as well, but Boris would have had the sense to slope off.
Starmer is an embarrassment. Labour my arse. Bring back Red Ken!

Why is it I just don’t believe that landlord would have done the same if it was Johnson ?
Starmer is fucked because he is an honourable, decent and truthful man when contemporary politics has no use for those qualities any more.

No politician in 2021 is honourable, decent, or truthful.

Jeremy Corbyn's racist third wife Laura Alvarez just tweeted then deleted support for the pub manager.
The far left Corbyn wing are now joining with the far right anti lockdown anti maskers anti vaxxers to criticise Starmer.
The pub is jointly owned and the other owner has made it clear that the Covid truther does not speak for the pub.

Corbyn was a fanny fart

More places should make it clear that he is not welcome.

Starmer should have punched him back like that other Labour man did.

R10, Corbyn’s wife is a racist Mexican? Do you understand the definition of racism or do you need a few punters?
And the far left and the far right are NOT the same thing, even though this popular online comment is on the list of every “moderate” voter, aka conservative.

You don't think Mexicans can be racist towards Blacks, Asians or Jews?
When it comes to vaccines and lockdown the far left and the far right are hard to tell apart.
Just look at Laura Alvarez's far left brother in law - harassing doctors leaving their shift at a hospital, sending anti vaccine posters to Jewish homes with Auschwitz images on them and this week using the murder of Sarah Everard by a policeman to protest lockdown laws.
