However, all the signs are there that it won't be a major force for that much longer. Lots of independent journalists and content creators are challenging the media narrative. The media are trying to scapegoat these independent voices as racist in order to shut them down but it will ultimately fail. Youtube "experimenting" with the dislike button already met with huge backlash. The writing is on the wall.
