I went to Sea World in Orlando.
It was pretty empty. It was moving away from live animal shows because of public criticism.
Without the whales, etc, what’s the point?

The killer whales are the only thing I remember from going there decades ago.

I think Sea World made pledge not to use killer whales any more.
So, what's the point?

Sea World has been trying to move away from live animal shows and move towards amusement rides like roller coasters.

They should move towards education and conservation.

Yeah, I feel like they've been having an identity crisis for some time now. They need to just rename the remaining Sea World parks. Call them Busch Gardens (Orlando, etc.) and invest in more thrill rides and cleverly themed family attractions/rides. They could have a Sea World section of the "new" park(s).

They should do the petting zoo thing with goats and deer.

It’s kinda sad.. but I totally get it. I’m glad I got to see the wales when they were there (I was actually at the park the day before the trainer was killed) but I’m good at eliminating a lot of these types of parks and focus more on rides/shows

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
