I saw "me and him" on a thread the other day. And the guy was lecturing me.

Kelsey and I went to the store. You did say it was a Grammar test, didn’t you?

They are all wrong unless you asked the person their preferred pronouns first.

OP, in case you’re genuinely struggling with the correct answer and/or why, think of it this way:

You would say,

He went to the store.

I went to the store.

Hence, he and I went to the store.

He and I. I was using "The King and I" as reference.

But, r8, there are circumstances where the King and me or me and the king are appropriate.

Vivian Vance and I went to the store.

Technically, I think that musical should have been called "The King and Me".

It's a case of subject pronouns vs object pronouns. Gender doesn't come into it at all.

He presented hole. I presented hole. He and I presented hole. He and I are subject pronouns.

The porn star fucked him. The porn star fucked me. The porn star fucked him and me. Him and me are object pronouns.

The dildo was for him and me. He and I used it.

Got it?

Him went to the store.

Actually, “I and he” is also correct. Just awkward-sounding.

This is 2021, OP. The correct form for millennials and Gen Z would be, " Him and myself went to the store."
