The administration released information several weeks ago about how the previous admin let the buildings that went up during the Obama admin basically rot, and they're using other buildings while the primary ones are being repaired. Biden needed to have put Pete Buttigieg in charge. He would have already been to the border multiple times, including interviewing hundreds of migrants in Spanish. He would examine all aspects of the situation, presented a blueprint and timetable for resolutions, and would be pressing Congress, including Republicans, to embrace his proposals. He would get something done.

Kamala will be a photo-op whenever it happens.
