Will Broadway open up later this year?

I really want to see the planned revival of Take Me Out (it should’ve won the Pulitzer).

Not if Scott Rudin manages to kill one of his assistants.

Take Me Out was good but flawed and not Pulitzer material. But the more cocks on Broadway the better!

Meanwhile, according to local NYC news, the first off Broadway show reopened last night. Sorry, I don't remember details.

R2 Most of the nominees haven’t been “Pulitzer” material in at least 10 years or more.

This from The Hollywood Reporter yesterday. The Times had prepped a story a couple of years ago but killed it for unexplained reasons.

R2 How was it flawed?

by Anonymousreply 5April 8, 2021 6:23 AM

R5 No Jussie.

Yes it will reopen.

Will it be safe?

Who will come?

Will they come in sufficient numbers to make it profitable?

I'm announcing the opening of " Slave Play, the Musical," which will open in November. It will wing a Pulitzer.

by Anonymousreply 8April 8, 2021 1:10 PM

I’m Six:The Play and will open this fall and be the first time a play and musical on the same subject and with the same material runs simultaneously on Broadway.
