Opioid abuse. Fell asleep while driving and speeding. He’s lucky he didn’t kill anyone on the road and rich enough to pay hush money. Why isn’t his license revoked?

by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 1, 2021 4:29 PM |
It was all too plain right from the start that the L.A. Sheriffs were spinning on his behalf. That one who stated using definite language that for certain he wasn't impaired and a scene blood test was absolutely not called for, and the rest of it. Fanbois and/or paid off. They were also really obviously trying to ensure his hospital blood tests were HIPPA protected rather than public records due to being related to any accident investigation.

Drugs.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 1, 2021 4:31 PM |
I'd bet that a blood alcohol test wasn't needed because it was obvious from the beginning what had happened, and that means blow job or texting or something along those lines.

How is this legal?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 1, 2021 4:39 PM |
No evidence anybody else was in the vehicle. Wanking off, maybe. One wonders if his fly was open or closed when they found him.

He was only in the car a few min before the crash, no way he fell asleep. People saw him leave, he wasn't wasted at 7 in the morning.

Perhaps Ambien, especially if he took it in the middle of the night, then got up early the next morning.

by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 1, 2021 5:13 PM |
I kept waiting for the Daily Mail or somebody to dig up footage showing what time he arrived back at his hotel the previous night or wee a.m. hours. Possibly he partied all night with whoever he did his previous day's activities with--not sure it was filming on the same show he was headed to when the crash happened, or something else. But he could have been flying down that road on a couple hours of sleep max.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 1, 2021 5:19 PM |
[quote]Hillary Clinton stood in the road and made him crash. It was all her fault.
And Nancy Pelosi jumped out in front of him, causing him to swerve, before Hilary finished him off (so to speak)
I really don't care, because I think there is a pretty good chance he's going to do something like this again; I just hope he doesn't kill anyone when he does (unless maybe if he started golfing with Trump & Jr....)

I would speculate it falls under HIPAA. Maybe it's really a health issue and nothing that involved drugs or alcohol. Maybe he suffered mini-stroke, minor heart attack or neurological?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 1, 2021 5:29 PM |
The infuriating thing about the way they covered up for him is he could have killed innocent people and could still do so. He's an entitled asshole. If there'd been a minivan full of local parent/kiddies coming in the opposite direction when he crossed over they could have been killed.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 1, 2021 5:30 PM |
Except he did not kill or injure anyone. That's just a big bunch of "what if" you've made up in your head.
They're not releasing the information because of people like you. It's none of your business. It never had anything to do with you. I've had beyond enough of your busy-body, pearl clutching bullshit.

He wasn’t high because it was 7 am? Shows you what you know about substance abuse. Clearly something being covered up- most like it was substance abuse related because he is an addict and alcoholic- we hope in recovery but probably slipped.
Tiger is not a nice guy- never liked on tour or in any manner in the press his entire career- and long before his womanizing while promoting the family Nan image was exposed. None of this necessarily has anything to do with substance abuse- although probably related.
Not a very happy man and his chance at being the GOAT wasted.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 1, 2021 5:49 PM |
It's only nobody's business if it was due to an unforeseen medical event such as a stroke. But It is everyone's business, and should be public record, if it involved unlawful conduct. That includes reckless/negligent/incompetent driving due to any voluntarily induced condition or behavior. Regardless of the fact that he didn't kill anyone.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 1, 2021 6:34 PM |
Why? Do you have any idea of how much bullshit goes on day on and day out in your very own city? I know you don't. You would be amazed of what happens only a few miles from you, that you have never, ever hear about. I live in the city, you have no idea how often I see the police tape, and more than ten police cars, the paddy wagon, etc., and never makes even the local news. You are being deceived. It happens all the time. Why don't you care about that?

If he had a stroke or medical issue that caused him to black out or fall asleep at the wheel, his PR machine would’ve made that known to the public. So no, he didn’t have any medical issues unless it’s related to his history of opioid abuse. Don’t forget he was recovering from back surgery when this went down, so don’t tell me he didn’t have a stash of oxycodone or even benzodiazepines to help him relax.

Take it with a grain of salt - a blind item said it was due to prescription drugs obtained from a doctor he never saw in person. Not saying that is correct. He allegedly had a tantrum just before the crash.

"Tiger Woods Was Speeding About 40 M.P.H. Above the Limit When He Crashed
The stretch of road where Woods crashed in February is known for speeding and crashes.
By Kevin Draper April 7, 2021 Updated 1:14 p.m. ET
Tiger Woods was driving about 40 miles per hour over the speed limit when he crashed a sport-utility vehicle in February, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva. Woods was traveling between 84 and 87 miles per hour in a 45 m.p.h. zone, Villanueva said at a news conference Wednesday. His car was traveling at an estimated 75 m.p.h. when it struck a tree."

R69 is correct. I live in the South Bay and these Palos Verdes roads are treacherous. That is a downhill with a curve. If he was going 40+ miles over the speed limit and angry/distracted it would be very easy to lose control.

by Anonymous | reply 79 | April 7, 2021 6:16 PM |
The sheriff's press conference was such a wank. They didn't get his blood test results. They didn't search his phone to see if he was talking on the phone or texting at the time. They didn't consider his going double the speed limit to be reckless. They won't cite him for speeding because no one saw him speeding and a police officer didn't see him speeding. The SUV's data recorder shows his excessive, dangerous speed but oh well, it isn't a human.
The sheriff and his guys are such an embarrassment.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | April 7, 2021 6:20 PM |
I'm guessing it's related to a medical condition and he doesn't want it known. There are accidents everywhere where the driver had a medical emergency. No charges are generally made in these cases. Maybe he had some sort of seizure. When that happens, at least on TV, the person generally doesn't remember what happened. If he had a seizure, the car would have been going pretty fast down that hill. That might also explain why there were no skid marks; he wasn't conscious to use the brakes. If he was unconscious, that might also explain why he wasn't more seriously injured. There have been lots of drunk driving accidents where the drunk person was barely injured but the passengers were. They had the opportunity to tense up. Just my two cents.

Tiger's conflicted, suffering from inner turmoil. His father was Black and his mother is Asian. He's constantly beating himself up over it for no reason.

High speed, acceleration + no braking = you fell asleep/unconscious, or you attempted suicide. In any other scenario you instinctively brake.
Everything R80 listed makes it sound to me like they were sure from the start what the cause of the crash was. It's not like he's going to be driving again anytime soon, peeps.

I live in Palos Verdes. Drive Hawthorne (the road of the crash) daily.
Given the region and curve where the incident occurred , going 80+ mph is insanity.
The fact that Alex V did not test or charge Woods for this is beyond suspect.
Something is up with this whole episode and it reflects exceedingly poorly on the Sheriff’s department.

Didn't the PD subpoena the SUV's Black Box? That should show a record of what happened. We know he didn't break before the accident happened. If he blacked out earlier, he would have hit the higher speeds due to the SUV going downhill anyway. I still say he has a medical condition that caused him to black out that is unrelated to prescription meds. That's why they needed his permission to release the results, IMO.

Yes, they did subpoena the black box, which is how we know all this data.
[quote] I still say he has a medical condition that caused him to black out that is unrelated to prescription meds. That's why they needed his permission to release the results, IMO.
They didn’t need his permission to release the results of the black box data, which is why they did. And they could easily say he “suffered a medical episode” without being specific if they wanted to.
The point is they don’t want to for a host of reasons and are falsely saying “Tiger won’t give us permission.”
There was a recent tractor-trailer crash near where I live complete with dramatic CCTV footage. The police revealed the driver suffered a medical episode before he was even discharged from the hospital. Had they said, however, “Mr. Jones (whom they didn’t even name, by the way) suffered an epileptic seizure before the accident” without his permission, that would be a problem.
A generic “medical episode,” however, is fine.

As soon as he's able, Tiger will host a star-studded charity event that will financially benefit the cops which will not have absolutely anything to do with the cops keeping secrets for him.

That road he was on has an escape lane. A dirt path you can get into if your speeding to fast and loose control. It's a known hill that people speed down on. Early am thinking no one else is around easy to go faster and then the hill without your knowledge speeds you up.
I've easily gone 60 on that and have panicked and smashed the breaks to slow it down. If you don't ride on your break you can go from 45 to 65. Without breaking and going about 55 you can easily speed up close to 80 without trying.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | April 9, 2021 2:07 PM |
