Process of how voices were dubbed in films always fascinated one, especially for musicals. Now know how things were done thanks to this clip which covers the famous Ava Gardner Showboat dubbing.
For laughs and giggles check out Natalie Wood and Rosalind Russell in film version of Gypsy (at 50:00). I knew Roz Russell didn't have one of the best voices, but thought she could at least make a go of it. Apparently not....

OP's video is excellent; I just saw it. Yeah, Rosalind Russell sounded pretty bad. Ava Gardner sounded great, but she was dubbed, anyway.

I can't believe I just sat through that whole thing.
They probably could have trimmed about 30 minutes off of it and not made it any less interesting. I liked it, but 90 minutes was a bit much.
