OP I remember seeing that one. “Larry” refers to the fictitious sexual relationship between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson invented by fraus who invade this sight. A similar, more recent pairing would be Richard Madden and Froy. These women create these relationships because it allows them to have to consider that these guys are with beautiful women that they cannot compete with.

Thank you R9. Is a post from 2017 considered a meme? I did a search using "Larries" and saw that Larries was referenced to outside media but nothing like a DL meme.

R10, a DL meme should be easily located in a search. Especially something with frequency. Google had a number of results. That doesn't make it a DL meme. This happened five or six years ago and I haven't heard much about it since then.

I have been on this site since before 2001 and I have never seen the Larry meme OP. Certainly never outside the original thread. Its not a meme-stop trying to make "fetch" happen. The one I don't understand is Bai Ling.

R11, it shows up in nearly every Harry/Louis thread on here, has for years. That's a meme.

We didn't discuss "Larries" per se, they just showed up and started threads about the alleged relationship between the two One Direction members.

This was not a DL thing per se--Larries exist elsewhere online--but they must have figured "gay board, we can do there to discuss gay relationships" --especially since the other 1D fans did not like the Larries.

They were here en masse and then they weren't.

Sort of like the crazy fraus who would show up to post that Gale Harold was actually bisexual or gay and in a relationship with his QAF co-star, or why they still show up to post about Armie Hammer and Tim C being in a relationship too--they want to believe that QAF and CMBYN were real.

What's particularly sad is that these are not the 14 year old girls you'd expect to be into this sort of thing (and quickly grow out of it when real boys get interested in them) but middle aged women with sad lives.

Much has been written about why these women want otherwise straight men to be gay, but R3 gives a good sum up.

One of my best friends swears that he overheard a conversation between them that went "I like your sweater" "It's red." "I like red." At which point the other three girls agreed that they too also liked red.

And so "I like red" became our own meme and continues 20 years later

There was a thread asking about this Lorna Luft thing recently and someone had concocted this tall tale about how she'd invented a story of molestation to sell her book, but that didn't happen, either.

I do at least understand that some references to " " are to the person who logs into TikTok, copies a link, and pastes it here so that - when you click on the link - you see the TikTok identity of the poster, . But I'm not sure why there's so much rage about and his TikTok threads. I don't see people lose shit over the endless "Tasteful Friends" threads. And I don't get the broader anger at over non-TikTok threads.

He's mentally ill, a scat aficionado, and probably a former low-budget actor and producer but could just be pretending to be said actor/producer. Shows up every so often to ask about himself, but there are also trolls who pretend to be him.

"Muriel" apparently comes from "You're terrible, Muriel" from the movie Muriel's Wedding.

Ernst is a real poster I think but more than that I couldn't tell you.
