The pleasure of reading
Recently after term break I discovered a newfound love for reading. I finished a Bulgakov, am currently reading Willa Cather's My Antonia, which is great and plan to read many more. Have you discovered the pleasure of reading?
I imagine it must be great lying on the coach with an American man, reading our books and reading to him passages I like in my subtle German accent.
I kind of want to write a novel or possible a short story. I think I might have what it takes.

If you feel you must write, write. But only do it because you feel compelled. That's my mantra.
I'm working on two writing projects right now, and they are coming along amazingly. Just a few years ago, I had no courage to write.

R1 What are you writing? And how do you know what to write about?

Which Bulgakov? I love “The Master and Margarita.” But never got around to finishing “The Days of the Turbins.”
