It's a glorious day here. I have just hung out the washing and there are four large sheets flapping in a stiffening breeze.

It couldn't have happened at a worse time, with Deplorables still wrapped-up in their Confederate flags and clutching a photo of Donald Trump. Day after day, stories of black pride and black courage and black power. Kwanzaa, Martin Luther King and Black Pride Month... see ya next year.

The only reason I am glad it's over is that my workplace can stop sending their obligatory and performative emails to show that they care (they really don't). It's just a box ticker for them. All white people on the "Black History Team". Embarrassing.
Sending us biographies of Black people, all copied from Wikipedia.
