if you're tweeting anything that can be misconstrued or interpreted in any way other than what you meant, please include a ☆tone indicator☆ to ensure that nothing gets twisted and jokes are made clear.
here are some commonly used tone indicators:
/j = joking
/hj = half joking
/s or /sarc = sarcasm
/srs = serious
/nsrs = not serious
/lh = light hearted
/ij = inside joke
/ref = reference
/t = teasing
/nm = not mad
/nay = not at you
/nsb = not subtweeting
/f = fake
/q = quote
/g or /gen = genuine
/th = threat
/cb = clickbait
/l or /ly = lyrics
/c or /cp = copypasta
/m = metaphor
/li = literal / literally
/rt or /rh = rhetorical
/p = platonic
/r = romantic
/pos = positive connotation
/neg = negative connotation
/neu = neutral / neutral connotation

also, don't forget to list one's ever changing pronouns. maybe a chart can be made with pronouns and corresponding tone indicators for fluid people

Good suggestion but /s sarcasm and /j are all you need. The poster does a disservice to herself by getting carried away with too many.
I use emojis and ! when I indicate a tone. /nuff.

Yeah, like I'm gonna remember all that, along with somebody's pronouns of he/they/fae that they insist must all be used alternately or I am LITERALLY KILLING TRANS PEOPLE.
And yes, the pronoun example is one that somebody I know actually insists upon. I have no idea why they still have any friends at all.
