Does every young man have his dick out online now?
They don’t seem to care at all anymore.
Minus a few. I have one straight friend who I want to make one (he’s so hot) but he refuses because he says he knows in the long run that will catch up to you if you want certain jobs etc. he feels these people aren’t thinking long term and only short term.
I have a few friends that have made one though, including this couple I know and this woman I used to work with. And now this kid I’ve been following for a long time suddenly has his ass and dick out too. Wtf is happening lmao

Because most of this generation doesn't think about this stuff in the same way you do and as long as we work for people in the same group we're usually fine?
I've had friends that have had their onlyfans/just4fans/4myfans reported to their supervisors or other superiors and guess what? Nothing happened. And yes, a few of them have really great jobs.
The REAL question people should be asking is why do people feel like they're not making enough money at their jobs and feel the need to resort to doing this for the money?
[quote]Stupid as hell. Trashy.
People have zero problems whipping their dick out and jerking off to porn stars and insta thots but will call them "trashy" once them cum.
That, I think, is what this generation realizes. You can't put down sex workers and then use them for pleasure when you want to get off. That doesn't make sense at all.

[quote]Well, I do, but at the same time that is not the same outcome for everyone.
I honestly didn't say it was.
If you work in certain fields, if you work for gay men (who have probably sent nudes to someone else on the apps or run around in a revealing speedo once or twice), if you work a job where clients never see you, if you work for people generally in the same age group then that increases the likelihood that you'll be fine.
I'm the one with a really traditional job, and I'd never do this. They've been lucky to work in art, fashion, design, etc and they're good. Real estate is another big one where people probably don't care depending on the market. One works in STEM and they're just fine. I really do know a lawyer that has one but that's just for kicks. He never shows his face on it though which is another thing one should never do even when they're sending nudes.
I'm the prude out of my group of friends but I'm at the point where none of this phases me.

The magazine came to Mizzou to seek out men for a “Men of the Big Eight” spread. One of my fraternity brothers “auditioned” for them. I thought he was a shoo-in, gorgeous face, nice hairy chest, big cock, huge bush. He showed them all of it. He didn’t get a callback. Do you know how hard it was on his ego??? I've been saying for years that the post Kim Kardashian era would be like this. The pandemic was a huge catalyst and has created the perfect conditions for Onlyfans to proliferate. People need money, have been confined at home, cannot have sex like they once were. Shaming goes against the movement of social consiousness going on right now. It happens because the internet exists. It happened 10 years ago, there were kids on MySpace and other sites holding cameras as they fucked. A lot of years ago, people couldn't even take pictures of their dicks or any nudity, if they were sending out the pics to be developed. Because they wouldn't get them back. Then there was Polaroid, and instant photos, and that changed. I think over time this went from being something people on the edge did, to everyone doing. It's weird that a lot of kids have no shame or modesty about it, but it's just how things are.

Nudity, porn, sex work... it's just not the life destroyer it was once was.

There’s something very convenient about how this kind of “sexual liberation” falls into such a strict corporate business model. I’m not judging the individuals at all but this is just another way that corporations are asserting control over people’s private lives. It’s so intrusive. Airbnb turned people’s houses into business opportunities, YouTube is just free marketing from “content creators”. Onlyfans is doing the same to people’s sex lives. People’s closets are for sale on Grailed. There’s no space remaining that is not being exploited for business. These business models assert themselves so quickly and the governments are so slow to reply and legislate that by the time they get around to it it’s too late. Airbnb has destroyed communities all over the world. Nobody stopped them. I see very little to no critique of this kind of surrender of private space to corporate interests. And this isn’t from a place of sex negativity at all. Altho I do roll my eyes at these rich-kid white boy “sex workers” that have been on onlyfans for 5 minutes and use that term to kind of co-opt the suffering of people that have been held in forced prostitution etc. to make themselves seem #gritty and #edgy.

Its not just their dicks but their hot gorgeous asses that they get out online! Whilst I welcome it I do think the returns many make on onlyfans are going to shrink because there are so many of them doing it that the market is oversaturated. I think a possible knock on effect of that happening will be a noticeable but smallish shift by some guys away from onlyfans to more escort work.

I disagree that kids going online and being exhibitionists for money is "beautiful." There's something about the distance of being online that makes it more acceptable apparently but it's public exhibitionism and sex. If they were doing it actually out in public, how would that be? But regardless, it's a choice to do something for money (or for free) that's a waste of life, when they could be trying to do something that contributes to society, the world in some way. Working towards healthy, wholesome goals, or doing something to help other people. When you see more and more people going this way, it's just a sign of hopelessness and decadence. I'm not a conservative or prudish guy and I think it has its place, but this is too pervasive and it's sick and a sign of a sick society.

r98 IMO if your talent is being good at sex or if you are sexually attractive, I dont think society should marginalize it. Even if people dont say it, they need it and will seek it out.
I will also say it is unwise to make this kind of thing your primary means of living. To me that is the component that is not good for society. You may not be able to sustain yourself for as long as you think. It has happened in the entertainment industry forever. Fast money and a few years later when everyone has moved on to younger and sexier, the money is spent on nonsense and nothing is left.

One day they will regret it. They will move on from this and join the real world, with its limitations and judgement. It could lose them jobs, partners, and self respect when they realise they brought this on themselves. A reputation is a bitter thing to lose. Gay men especially have double standards. They will enjoy the images, but they wouldn’t be seen dead with the person they’ve wanked over. It’s hypocrisy.

People were doing it already, you just didn't see it online and they didn't always get paid for it.
When the President of the United States is married to a woman who got her tits out on camera for money, no matter what you thought of her politics, people didn't attack her en masse for it. That would have absolutely destroyed anyone a couple of decades ago. Not even the Democrats would harp on that.
Why? Because things are changing.
As a heads up it's going to get worse.
Twitter is adding a new "Super Followers" feature that will allow people to charge their followers for content. Rather than people linking to their onlyfans so their followers can see it, now people will be able to post content directly on their twitter and only their paid "super fans" will see it. It's going to make Twitter a lot of money and giving their massive userbase access to this is going to change things dramatically.

[quote]Of course people were doing it already, just not a lot of high school kids or college student
One of my classmates in high school brought pictures of his naked girlfriend to class to show everyone. She posed for him and he took pics with an old Panasonic camera. In college I got invited to a "College Fuck Fest" party where a camera crew filmed a couple of porn stars having sex and the crowd watched in a frat house or large apartment. (Yes, those videos were real if you remember the site.)
I'll give you that people had less access to these things because of a lack of sophisticated tech though.
I will check out this Chris Hedges. Thank you!

"The weird, or ironic, thing is that they will show their dicks online but if somebody makes an unwelcome pass or comment their entire world falls apart"
Are these the same young guys who do the towel dance when they undress in the gym locker room? Just when you think the younger generation are prudes, they're whipping it out on Instagram. Mind-boggling.

Come on, you have to understand the difference.

Yes, for the kids this has become the new normal. And once tumblr was no more, it made its way over to twitter, and it was normalized there. Yeah, but, wait a second. Twitter? TWITTER? Really? wtf? I thought Twitter was supposed to be worldwide platform for sharing and following the written/typed word. You could follow and read other peoples text, words and thoughts all within a limited word count. No? Pics are for Instagram.
I'm giving partial credit to Madonna for what's going on here. Her ascent to super-stardom started 1983-84, and in '85 Penthouse mag published top-to-bottom nude pics from a photoshoot she'd done pre-fame, when she was still struggling and unknown in NYC. Then another shoot surfaced with just her and a cat (aka her pussy). It sold as a progressive coffee table book. Instead of letting it kill her career, her response was "I'm not ashamed." A few weeks later she was a headliner at LIve AId in Philadelphia, where she referenced it by telling the packed stadium "I'm not taking shit off today!"
But these kids better take note. When Madonna read the book on fame, she skipped over a few of the last chapters, including "How to age gracefully in front of the entire world." Time flies, and your fifteen minutes are up before you know it.

R118 what Madonna lacks in aging gracefully, Vanessa Williams more than makes up for.
But the prototype for these kids today is Kim Kardashian. So many are chasing that

Casual nudity is still discouraged among males at least in America. Meanwhile, girls can post shots of their ass and tits hanging out and no one blinks.

Everything is so extreme today. When I grew up in the 90s, it was cutting and eating disorders, now everything is permanent. You have young men and women transitioning, castrating themselves, manipulating their hormones either through blockers or steriods. I look at Instagram and I see an endless sea of young males who are obviously taking steriods. Tattooing their entire bodies. Or they masturbate online, they film themselves having sex—the Internet is forever. All this stuff is permanent. This generation is crazy. Every generation gets worse and worse.

People still view nudity the same way. There is a degree of innocence or playfulness when it comes to nudity in other countries. The stuff being posted on Twitter and Onlyfans is just amateur porn.

I just posted my first amateur video on one of the free sites. The first few seconds show my face but I didn't know how to edit it out. Oh well, I'm a pretty anonymous person.
It's basically a rear view of me fucking a plastic sex toy. I did it to see what I looked like and maybe boost my self-esteem (in my 50s). It turned out surprisingly good: my ass looks nice and my big balls are flopping while I pound that thing.

I wonder how they choose their media to display themselves—
Twitter.
Onlyfans.
Guys with iphones
Reddit Ladyboners.
Some involve money, others don't. Some are gayish and others not.

There is a chip missing in the mind of many millennials and Gen Z-ers. The few times I have exchanged numbers with one at a bar, he sends me a dick pic among other things. Bitch, I already told you I am total top, I don't give a shit about your dick! Like, how do you exist as a gay man?

Lots of tops still like hot dicks - visually, too play with, to suck, to give a reach around. Is everyone supposed to know everything about your sexuality based on a bar chat?

[quote] we live in a dying civilisation
Douglas Murray says "In the latter part of the 20th century we entered the post modern era.
An era which defines itself, and was defined, by it's suspicion towards all grand narratives.
The problem is one that is easier to feel than it is to prove, but it runs something like this: that life in modern liberal democracies is to some extent thin or shallow and that life the Modern Western Europe in particular has lost its sense of purpose.
Stefan Zweig said 'I feel that Europe is in a state of derangement and has passed its own death sentence.
