We all couldn’t stand this bitch and knew she was out of the party already.

Formally censuring her was unnecessary, mean-spirited, and batshit.

The Republicans are gonna have a long time in the wilderness.

As I saw someone post on Twitter - the Republican civil war is over and Trump won. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just an old-school Republican trying to delude themselves.

God knows I prefer Cindy McCain's brand of standard odious Republicanism to the Trump brand of batshit crazy Republicanism ... but Cindy is as much a part of the past as Bob Dole now. Her influence is nil and her opinions are just a notch above that.

Yep. The "Republican" Party is the Party of Trump now and forever. It's amazing that some people still haven't realized this.

by Anonymousreply 4February 22, 2021 7:22 PM

She needs to cut her cunt daughter's access to John's old meds off. Cindy has called for Fauci's removal BECAUSE SHE'S A REPIGLICANCER.

by Anonymousreply 5February 22, 2021 7:24 PM

A former Republican vociferously waging a vendetta against her former party is probably not the best person to try to get an accurate assessment from.

It's crazy to me that the Republicans --actual Republicans, not Trumpers-- didn't and won't fight as hard for their own party as they do against Democrats. Do they think that Trumpers will spare them? HAHAHA!

No. No, they won't.

They need to take their party back from the trash that's invaded it. FIGHT, you bastards! If you won't fight for America or Democracy, fight for your own party!

Keep in mind that tar and feathering is no longer acceptable in the modern era, so there weren’t a lot of great options left for dealing with her appropriately.

The crazy right are a nice cash stream for the Repubs so they’ll be around. Maybe not as powerful. For now it’s Trump’s party. Things could come out about Trump or a new personality could emerge on the scene or.. or.. anything. He’s only recently got the boot. My question is would Trump run again at 80?

by Anonymousreply 9February 22, 2021 7:40 PM

She's still a Repug.

The Republican party was on its way to becoming a full on populist party even before Trump entered the scene. Ironically, Trump is the last person who could effectively build a coalition among the populist right and the corporatist GOP that DL all of a sudden appears to love so much. Trump also rallied support among the evangelist base despite being married several times and being perceived as a bully. Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley are even less pro establishment than Trump and they seem like his most obvious successors.

The Democrat party has a history of sticking by their politicians no matter what. Republicans vote them out. If Republicans are interested in gaining a majority, than they need to maintain Trump's coalition or risk going full populist.

Anyone who refers to it as the “Democrat Party” is just a right wing troll here to stir up trouble. Using that term is a dead giveaway, no go suck Ben Shapiro’s nut sack.
