I'm slightly surprised
It was a well done and interesting film. I didn't expect to enjoy it but found it engaging, fascinating, thrilling and tense.
After watching the film, I read a book about the "miracle at Dunkirk" and some interviews with some of the soldiers.
I would imagine British people to be proud of what they were able to accomplish. They really rallied together and saved their own.

The British should be damned proud of what they managed at Dunkirk.
I'm interested in WWII books - may I ask which you were reading?

Not like really battle. You embarrass self. Go find oldie and ask in person what is what like. Much better to be told story, the trash movies you see.

R4, I am R1 and I agree with you.
However, I will nevertheless remember R3's words of wisdom, "Go find oldie and ask in person what is what like".

I thought it was a bore. 1917 was a far better film.

I liked them both but give 1917 the edge, what a show that was.

I wanted those 2 hot young British sailors/volunteers to fall in love - both so pretty! Movie needed WAY more male nudity.
