If a so-called veg/-an/-etarian is pudgy, you can bet they eat meat behind closed doors. All that extra body mass didn't come from eating a meat-free diet. Even unhealthy veg food doesn't result in weight gain.

You jest. My sister is a life long vegetarian and about 5 stone overweight because she loves pastries cakes, ice cream, cheese and chocolate... all of which are vegetarian.
