I have a script for Ventolin (can substitute) but the cheapest, even with my insurance is $43. I see online pharmacies from the UK and Turkey have it for about $11.
Anyone have any experiences with online w/prescriptions?

Asthma inhalers are such a racket. In the US, it's the non CFC delivery system that is patented and drives up the price. Albuterol is cheap. I picked up a handful of inhalers OTC in Spain and they were about 6 euro each.

No advice on the online pharmacies, OP. That shit just drives me insane and I wanted to bitch about it.

Ask for generic albuterol
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 5, 2021 9:21 PM |
Try Blink and they will fill it at Wal Mart

Blink is really good. Just click the link. It's already set to Albuterol

I don’t use online pharmacies. I go to Los Algodones over the California border into Mexico. Like candy stores for drugs. Load up for six months, no questions asked.

R7 no trouble ever getting them back into US?

Oddly, border officials really are very accommodating. It’s as if they realize that you need these meds, they cost much less and are rather understanding. Once I picked up a large double order for my elderly neighbor. I just explained why. Waved me on. Good, compassionate people still exist contrary to what the media or others may tell you.

Try the online Canadian pharmacies, much closer.

Inhouse is pretty good and you don’t need the script, but it will help. Inhouse is favored by the Transsexuals without prescription crowd.

Blink is $73 dollars. I will keep looking. The Canadian ones are no cheaper than my own insurance.
r1 is sort of correct. The thing is you can get steriod inhalers like Flovent for $10 with the same delivery, so it just can't be that alone.

I buy in Mexico too.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 8, 2021 4:40 PM |
Just order it from the UK, duh.

Has anyone gotten Prep online?

I ordered muscle relaxant/ibuprofen that’s otc in Canada and US customs intercepted it and told me I’d have to pay $58 in customs tax.

Northwest Canadian Pharmacy worked for me. It's based out of British Columbia.

Oh god this reminds me. All Day Chemist, the great place that used to provide anything except scheduled meds without a script, may be around no longer. This is where I got my eyelash/eyebrow Latisse generic, and my Cialis, for next to nothing. Well, it has gone down the fucking tubes since the pandemic. I hope they will bounce back, but it's looking bleak

R9 that’s really interesting. I buy mine overseas and am coming back through JFK and I’m always nervous. Immigration there is so sour but I’m always waved through customs.

OP - I used Blink Health. Create an account and go to Wal Mart to get the prescription. So much better than CVS or other rip off places.

You are always allowed to bring medicine back for personal use from outside the country—as long as it’s not gobs and gobs of it.
That is not illegal

$27 for the generic at my local Walgreens
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 8, 2021 9:48 AM |
I didn’t know that r21. I bring back a year’s worth of generic Lipitor in my carry on. Well, good to know.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 8, 2021 4:08 PM |
R21 That's not true. The "personal use/90 day supply" is not at all set in stone, and depending on the country your are travelling to/from can get you in a lot of trouble at customs unless you have a genuine prescription for what you are carrying. Also, what is legal in one country, may not be in another country even WITH a script.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 8, 2021 5:22 PM |
R24 is talking about the Adderall she took with her to Bahrain/Japan.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 9, 2021 2:01 AM |
What happened to All Day Chemist R18? Looks like the site is still there.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 9, 2021 2:02 AM |
R24, I wouldn’t ever bring in controlled substances (like say Xanax or ambien) but customs doesn’t care about the anti-cholesterol drugs you bring home
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 9, 2021 5:03 AM |
All of this is theatre so American Pharma can keep charging insane prices for drugs in the US.
The truth is the majority of drugs are already made in other countries and imported here.

Why do you declare what you’ve bought? How would they know if you bought Xanax or not?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 9, 2021 5:20 AM |
R30, much of it is on the honor system, but customs does check some bags by hand to check if you’re telling the truth.
If you happen to get chosen for a check, and they find Xanax, etc, the worse they will likely do is confiscate it
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 9, 2021 6:55 AM |
Checked bags are x-rayed before departure but upon arrival? I don’t declare mine because under a certain amount, $200? $500? you don’t have to itemize. Then I walk through the green, nothing to declare, lane. People can be pulled over and searched though.

[quote]Customs doesn’t care about the anti-cholesterol drugs you bring home
A few years ago my sister went to Tijuana for a day trip, and she bought some local-brand Kahlúa and stocked up on the medicine she takes for hyperthyroid. When she went back through customs, she got nervous, and when the officer asked if she had anything to declare, she guiltily blurted out "[bold]DRUGS AND LIQUOR!!![/bold]" When she showed her "stash" to the officer, he just laughed and waved her through.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
