It’s 🔥🔥🔥
This is a lot better than most of her previous songs. She also has a great flow in this one.

Flow, dignity, AND class.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | February 5, 2021 10:53 AM |
What a pile of shit.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 5, 2021 10:57 AM |
Ghastly.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 5, 2021 11:02 AM |
I still don't get why they have to use profanity so much.
Does the amount of profane words determine a song's quality?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 5, 2021 11:02 AM |
R4 asks this while blasting an Eminem song, ignoring his violent lyrics, filled with profanity
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 5, 2021 11:07 AM |
F&F for calling her caterwauling "a bop"
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 5, 2021 11:08 AM |
Video and song made laugh. It's high octane vulgar n*gg*rtude overdose, you have to give her that. Moves along pretty well. And zero throwaways to COVID in the production. TONGUE IT BITCHES. It's so glam trash!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 5, 2021 11:17 AM |
Busby Berkeley just rolled over in his grave. The art director knows his stuff.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 5, 2021 11:22 AM |
This is why black people won’t get the respect they want.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 5, 2021 11:28 AM |
I wanna know if she's singing about her leaking clam again before I hear another one of her songs.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 5, 2021 11:30 AM |
Because Cardi B speaks for all black people? R9
Grow up. God.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 5, 2021 11:32 AM |
R11 is her leaking clam, here to defend itself against brutal attacks on its person.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 5, 2021 11:58 AM |
Hurrah! It's the Bop Troll! Toothless geriatric, trying to sound "hip" by referring to songs as bops.
It's time for your meds and sitz bath, toothless Bop Troll.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 5, 2021 12:01 PM |
It’s high energy
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 5, 2021 12:56 PM |
R13 cute but you know the OP is that combative young guy that accuses everyone of being racist.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 5, 2021 3:08 PM |
R10 - I don't know why, but something about your phrasing is making me laugh so hard. "Leaking clam" -- LOL!!
Anyway, OP, I like it! It's nowhere near a WAP-level impact. It's not as strong a song and there's no way it will have anything close to that song's insane cultural impact, but I love that she's bringing colorfulness, a sense of whimsy and humor back to hip hop videos. Reminds me a little of MIssy.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 5, 2021 3:27 PM |
This is fun
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 6, 2021 1:35 AM |
This is definite bop. She should have held this until April or so then she would have a guaranteed song of summer.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 6, 2021 1:45 AM |
And R9, you’re a fucking idiot. Probably have $30 in your checking account talking shit about respect. Who the fuck respects your old, HIV-carrying ass?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 6, 2021 1:48 AM |
Call me a conservative dipshit, but how did she explain to her parents and grandparents why she does that to in front of the world? I know you get tons of money but it is still shameful.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 6, 2021 1:54 AM |
[quote] bop
Such a frauish word.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 6, 2021 2:08 AM |
Either her leaking clam or one of those covers-the-whole-titty areolas she's got...
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 6, 2021 2:12 AM |
She's a pig. Why this thread?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 6, 2021 2:20 AM |
Because there's a Cardi super fan who won't stop. Maybe two. I hope it's one.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 6, 2021 2:24 AM |
Thank you, R24. I need to ignore these super fan threads.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 6, 2021 2:28 AM |
Lmaoooo that is Everyone troll is working overtime
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 6, 2021 2:29 AM |
Quick! Somebody start a Grandmadonna thread to whet these queens' appetites!
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 6, 2021 3:29 AM |
All I can think is everyone is going to get Covid, and it doesn’t generally end well for POC.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 6, 2021 4:05 AM |
I get what she’s trying to do... woman in an less than friendly industry. Gotta be aggressively explicit and unapologetic. But I still have questions.
If what is “up”? If what is “up”? If what is “up”? What could be up? And then how does whatever that is then get stuck? Stuck where? In what?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 6, 2021 4:58 AM |
Throw it IN a 🔥🔥🔥 please!!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 6, 2021 5:09 AM |
I love how these old queens criticize her or any black woman who is unapologetic about being sexual but when It was someone like Madonna or GaGa they applauded them
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 6, 2021 11:41 AM |
It's not about the content, it's the quality of the presentation. It's not like selling your ass is some new concept.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 6, 2021 11:58 AM |
This longhaired bum needs to lay of the reefers and get a job instead of making all this rowdy beat-music.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 6, 2021 1:06 PM |
A real class act!
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 6, 2021 6:16 PM |
I like her taste in furniture. Anyone know where I can order that table?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 6, 2021 6:28 PM |
R35 - try Danny Thomas Designs, in Hollywood
by Anonymous | reply 36 | February 6, 2021 6:31 PM |
R36 - I think I might be... too young to get the reference? Googled him and it looks like he was the father of that elderly woman who's always doing TV commercials about that children's hospital?
by Anonymous | reply 37 | February 6, 2021 8:05 PM |
I hate music like this, it's trashy, crude and musically low brow.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | February 7, 2021 1:50 AM |
Sorry, but I actually like it. It’s fun with a lot of energy.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | February 23, 2021 12:35 PM |
I like it, too, R39. At first I was disappointed it didn't live up to WAP, but those are unrealistic expectations. WAP was a pop culture juggernaut. Some artists only get one of those in their entire careers. Up isn't as strong, nor will it have anywhere near the impact, but it's definitely a bop (as the OP said.) I also love that Cardi brings an unbridled sense of fun and wackiness to hip hop, like Missy does/did.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | February 23, 2021 5:13 PM |
By the way, these lyrics will be in the Smithsonian one day...
[quote]Put it on him now, he will never be the same (He won't)
[quote]Tatted on my ass 'cause I really like the pain (Ah)
[quote]He nutted on my butt, I said, "I'm glad that you came"
How gracious.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | February 23, 2021 5:15 PM |
Eldergays, are you wearing your pearls? Get ready to clutch them!
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 23, 2021 5:34 PM |
Took some serious airbrushing to cover up that whole-breast areola action she has going on.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 25, 2021 11:47 PM |
I hate how much I like this song lmao
by Anonymous | reply 44 | February 26, 2021 12:59 AM |
Bless her heart.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | February 26, 2021 2:33 AM |
She looked better before the huge fake ass
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 26, 2021 2:45 AM |
The monotonous music in the background ruins it. Shoulda used sound effects, samples and a car-shaking base.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | February 26, 2021 3:25 AM |
Why hate that you like it, R44? You don't need to feel guilty for enjoying something so obviously made to make you laugh and bounce your booty.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | February 26, 2021 4:49 AM |
I don’t get it. Do straight men like this shit? Do women?
by Anonymous | reply 49 | February 26, 2021 6:19 AM |
Apparently someone likes it. Too bad a few of them are also on DL
by Anonymous | reply 50 | March 1, 2021 2:28 PM |
OP, you're going to have to explain to like 90% of DL-ers what a bop is.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | March 1, 2021 2:45 PM |
Risqué lyrics are nothing new. Some selected blues lyrics:
"My father was a jockey, he taught me how to ride. ... when you're riding with your woman never slow on down. Just keep movin', just keep tossin' around."
"I'm a king bee, buzzin' round your hive ... baby, won't you let me come inside?"
"They call me Big Mama case I weigh three-hundred pounds. I can rock and I can roll and I can really go to town."
Or about about this one?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | March 1, 2021 2:57 PM |
She looks misshapen...too bottom heavy.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 1, 2021 3:59 PM |
Yeah that old stuff is innuendo, sometimes hardly veiled. But it's nothing like what they get away with now. Clara Smith wasn't telling anyone to lick her crack.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 1, 2021 4:05 PM |
Google Lucille Bogan and Gladys Bentley...part of the queer blues sub genre of blues music. And raunchy.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | March 1, 2021 4:34 PM |
It's better than WAP. Now that was a crock of shit.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | March 1, 2021 4:45 PM |
Cardi is talent-free, I fear. Her "music" is godawful nonsense
by Anonymous | reply 58 | March 1, 2021 4:52 PM |
I love this! It's the first song that's made me smile in awhile.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | March 1, 2021 5:17 PM |
We all know about Urban Dictionary, R51.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | March 2, 2021 3:00 AM |
Judging by the photo at the link, I thought this was going to be an uplifting, spiritual offering filled with gospel themes and hopeful lyrics.
I was mistaken.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | March 2, 2021 3:09 AM |
R57 I agree
