This looks good.

What’s with all the dyke movies and TV shows lately? Pass.

by Anonymousreply 3January 16, 2021 1:56 AM

R3 There’s so many that a few of them are good. I liked Carol.

by Anonymousreply 4January 16, 2021 1:57 AM

Carol, AKA The Passion of the Blanchett? That one was a little much for me.

by Anonymousreply 5January 16, 2021 2:12 AM

The trailer tells the whole story.

by Anonymousreply 6January 16, 2021 3:25 AM

R1 ok, I don't know what that means.

by Anonymousreply 7January 16, 2021 4:08 AM

Nice. I'd like to see this one.

by Anonymousreply 8January 16, 2021 4:12 AM

Great looking.

No one cares.

Yay! Lesbians! How safe

by Anonymousreply 12January 16, 2021 5:17 AM

R11 You care

by Anonymousreply 13January 17, 2021 12:46 AM

R12 as a woman interested in women myself, I'd like a return to more dangerous, chaotic, evil lesbians in cinema. Or at least, loveable criminals like Thelma & Louise. I'm getting a little sick and bored of the constant barrage of cutesy, adorable, lawful woobie goody girls who are Just Trying Their Best.

Drama is drama, and the best kind in romance fiction usually comes from an unpredictable element or character or dynamic.

Criterion has 40 lesbian movies this month, if you like this. That's what they consider to be "LGBTQ Favorites" apparently. 40 lesbian movies, Paris is Burning, and The Living End. And a bunch of Judy. Not that I'm complaining, the channel is great value, but jeez.

Oh, and Weekend is in there. Because the only good gay man story is a sad gay man story for women.
