Have you ever killed someone? War counts.

Not yet.

by Anonymousreply 35January 21, 2021 12:34 AM

Of course not

by Anonymousreply 1January 15, 2021 6:46 PM

Yes, and I'll gladly do it again as soon as I get the chance.

by Anonymousreply 2January 15, 2021 7:03 PM

Oh, honey....

by Anonymousreply 3January 15, 2021 7:08 PM

If they can;t find the body it's not a killing. It's just a missing person.

by Anonymousreply 4January 15, 2021 7:22 PM

^^Rusty.

by Anonymousreply 5January 15, 2021 7:24 PM

Only with my devastating wit over cocktails at my club.

by Anonymousreply 6January 15, 2021 7:33 PM

Not me, but my great-uncle's kid.

Decades ago when he was in his early 20's, he was coming home from a bar when he suddenly got set upon by a group of hooligans who followed him home from the bar. In self-defense, he took out a pocket knife and stabbed one of them in the heart, killing him. He was never charged for it, obviously.

No, but if I did this is how I would do it...

by Anonymousreply 15January 16, 2021 1:24 AM

For those who have killed in war, how did you feel afterward? Did it stick with you, or were you able to shake it off fairly easily?

by Anonymousreply 16January 16, 2021 1:29 AM

I am a cereal killer, every morning.

by Anonymousreply 17January 16, 2021 2:31 AM

Does working as a hospice nurse count?

Over 8 years, I personally presided at the deaths of about 3 to 4 dozen people.

And attended to a few hundred more.

by Anonymousreply 18January 16, 2021 3:38 AM

I'm a doctor. I've pulled the plug a few times allowing a breathing corpse to actually die.

by Anonymousreply 19January 16, 2021 3:43 AM

Yes, I chucked it down the pan.

by Anonymousreply 20January 16, 2021 3:45 AM

by Anonymousreply 22January 16, 2021 3:48 AM

by Anonymousreply 23January 16, 2021 5:20 AM

Define "someone."

by Anonymousreply 24January 16, 2021 5:48 AM

My uncle was a D-Day survivor. When he was in his seventies, he told me he would never forget looking into the blue eyes of a young German man he killed, but one or the other of them was going to die. He felt bad about it, though, because he realized the other guy was just a kid fighting for his country, same as he was.

by Anonymousreply 25January 16, 2021 9:02 AM

mentally I am a mass murderer on a daily basis... especially during rush hour!

by Anonymousreply 26January 16, 2021 9:09 AM

MAYBE.

by Anonymousreply 27January 16, 2021 9:11 AM

hospice is euthanasia. the "special dose" in the 'fridge...

by Anonymousreply 28January 16, 2021 9:55 AM

Passive euthanasia happens all the time. (The withdrawing or withholding of treatment that might continue life for a little while longer in someone who is in an irreversible death trajectory). Just because we've invented a technology doesn't mean we have to use it. Active euthanasia, the administration of a medication or other means to actually cause death, is very rare.

No vets here to tell their tales? Also, despite my late partner being a doctor, most doctors creep me out a little.

by Anonymousreply 31January 17, 2021 11:15 PM

I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die!

by Anonymousreply 32January 18, 2021 12:10 AM

by Anonymousreply 33January 18, 2021 1:14 AM
