Help! DL Farmers! Do I have to bring in my herb plants tonight?

I'm in Houston and it will get down to 42.

If you've just purchased them, they've probably been growing in a greenhouse, so I'd bring them inside. If you've had them growing outside already, though, most herbs should be able to handle the cooler weather.

Thank you! I just bought the lavender and rosemary but the others I've had for a while. I'll bring those two inside.

Good. Lavender and rosemary are both pretty hardy, but newer plants wouldn't have had a chance to develop much hardiness. You'd be able to grow both of those outdoors all year in Houston, once they're established.
