Lindz knows she owes her power to the Trumpist base—that's who the Republicans are now, especially in the south. To keep her position in Congress and in the American establishment she had to disavow Trump last Wednesday night, but she needs proximity to him to reconcile the base to her—the hussy!

I also think that Lady G fancies herself as Dump's minder - keeping him under control, keeping him happy like a giant oversized cranky toddler.
