Let’s Be Talking About People After They’re Dead

I’m “she was beautiful, a free spirit and was unbelievably charming” when she was selfish cunt.

by Anonymousreply 99January 22, 2021 8:23 PM

I’m the shirt he would give you off his back.

by Anonymousreply 1January 12, 2021 3:44 PM

I am her helping nature. She was a lazy bitch.

by Anonymousreply 2January 12, 2021 3:46 PM

I'm the "He was a great man" statement that many kids make about their father.

by Anonymousreply 3January 12, 2021 3:47 PM

"He touched everyone he came into contact with!"

And often without consent.

by Anonymousreply 4January 12, 2021 3:47 PM

She was always so friendly. Whore.

by Anonymousreply 5January 12, 2021 3:53 PM

'Always ready with a joke.' Which would make everyone cringe.

by Anonymousreply 6January 12, 2021 3:56 PM

Her smile lit up the room!

by Anonymousreply 7January 12, 2021 3:56 PM

He kept to himself. Serial killer.

by Anonymousreply 8January 12, 2021 3:57 PM

He would do anything for you = sent me a text once asking if I needed anything when my mother died

by Anonymousreply 9January 12, 2021 3:58 PM

He was devoted to his family. Which one? He had another family 20 miles away.

by Anonymousreply 10January 12, 2021 4:03 PM

"The apple of her father's eye."

Pint-sized harlot who was perpetually acting like a hussy and a whore.

by Anonymousreply 11January 12, 2021 4:03 PM

I’m the old cousin looking at the body in the open casket saying “(s)he looks so peaceful and beautiful” even though the mortician slathered on the rouge with complete abandon.

by Anonymousreply 12January 12, 2021 4:04 PM

He had a hot ass but couldn’t live forever.

by Anonymousreply 13January 12, 2021 4:04 PM

I'm Heaven, and I needed another angel.

by Anonymousreply 14January 12, 2021 4:07 PM

I'm 'He had his ups and downs, but he had a good heart'.

= He was a walking disaster plagued by drug and alcohol issues who left a trail of destruction wherever he went

by Anonymousreply 15January 12, 2021 4:10 PM

R11- love Patsy Ramsey.

by Anonymousreply 16January 12, 2021 4:22 PM

"She was extemely close with everyone she met"

because if you left the bitch alone for 30 seconds in your house, she'd steal everything that wasn't nailed down.

by Anonymousreply 17January 12, 2021 4:23 PM

There were weird smells coming from his house in the middle of the night.

by Anonymousreply 18January 12, 2021 4:29 PM

“He was just starting to turn his life around”, which means that he had been off of meth for two days (and only then because he couldn’t afford to buy anymore).

by Anonymousreply 19January 12, 2021 4:33 PM

R20 or he was walking around an inner city ghetto at 2am on a school night.

by Anonymousreply 20January 12, 2021 4:53 PM

I’m not the least bit surprised. He had beady eyes.

by Anonymousreply 21January 12, 2021 4:56 PM

Well, she certainly was devoted to those cats.

by Anonymousreply 22January 12, 2021 4:58 PM

Bless her heart! She or gay he were complete shits, or stupid or very unattractive or possibly all three.

by Anonymousreply 23January 12, 2021 4:58 PM

Always the life and soul of the party! = Annoying, always turned up drunk, made several people uncomfortable for very different reasons and needed to either be put in a taxi or ended up staying the night and pissing the bed in the spare room

by Anonymousreply 24January 12, 2021 4:59 PM

She was a good woman but she was a LIAR!

by Anonymousreply 25January 12, 2021 5:00 PM

She enjoyed poor health

by Anonymousreply 26January 12, 2021 5:04 PM

When she walked into a room all eyes turned (loud, obnoxious drama queen)

by Anonymousreply 27January 12, 2021 5:04 PM

"I'll miss our talks."

Means: I can now unblock his phone number. Better yet, I can delete him as a contact.

by Anonymousreply 28January 12, 2021 5:05 PM

He was such a philanthropist ....he stole from his charities

by Anonymousreply 29January 12, 2021 5:05 PM

She was a bitch. With great hair!

by Anonymousreply 30January 12, 2021 5:05 PM

He was so witty (bitchy queen)

by Anonymousreply 31January 12, 2021 5:06 PM

We were as close as sisters. She was fucking my husband. This is why I killed the bitch.

by Anonymousreply 32January 12, 2021 5:07 PM

He was a sensitive soul (couldn’t handle life without a handful of drugs)

by Anonymousreply 33January 12, 2021 5:09 PM

A tireless campaigner.

Never shut up about the same subject!

by Anonymousreply 34January 12, 2021 5:12 PM

I loved him like a brother

= we were fucking since the day we met, you dumb fucks.

by Anonymousreply 35January 12, 2021 5:14 PM

by Anonymousreply 36January 12, 2021 5:15 PM

Life and soul of the party

= Alcoholic

by Anonymousreply 37January 12, 2021 5:22 PM

I had a FB in the 80s who beat a speeding ticket in HS by requesting a trial and hanging the officer on the stand about the proper use and calibration of his equipment. After college, he graduated from city law school and got picked up by a prestigious defense firm where he quickly made a name for himself, and even some notoriety playing dirty politics at the local level. But he was always compensating for his love of dick. Bought a Trans Am in HS, joined the football team his junior year, always trying too hard.

Cut forward about six years and upon arriving at a "destination" wedding, I learned that he had crossed his Corvette into oncoming traffic and ran directly into an 18 wheeler. The claim was that he was forced by a different truck he was trying to pass. Nobody said it, but most of us knew how dangerous his driving was.

Another friend commented "Well, we always knew it would be something with Scott".

by Anonymousreply 38January 12, 2021 5:25 PM

"He lived his life on his own terms."

Meaning: He was unpleasant and we will not really miss him in the community.

by Anonymousreply 39January 12, 2021 5:28 PM

But her emails . . .

by Anonymousreply 40January 12, 2021 5:28 PM

"He lived life to the fullest."

He smoked, drank, spent time in jail, and died six figures in debt.

by Anonymousreply 41January 12, 2021 5:29 PM

But, her emails . . .

by Anonymousreply 42January 12, 2021 5:30 PM

She was feisty = A totally obnoxious, offensive bitch.

by Anonymousreply 43January 12, 2021 5:38 PM

This thread makes me think of the White House statement that will be released when Trump chokes on his last cheeseburger:

“The President and Dr Biden will be spending the day reflecting on the impact President Trump had on the nation.”

by Anonymousreply 44January 12, 2021 5:38 PM

She's in a better place? What do you mean she's in a better place?! She had a house in the Hamptons! In a better place, uh huh.

by Anonymousreply 45January 12, 2021 5:41 PM

She nasty.

by Anonymousreply 46January 12, 2021 5:42 PM

Some of you are not understanding the premise/concept of this.

by Anonymousreply 47January 12, 2021 5:49 PM

[quote] I learned that he had crossed his Corvette into oncoming traffic and ran directly into an 18 wheeler.

Sounds like a suicide.

by Anonymousreply 48January 12, 2021 8:49 PM

"after a short illness"

OD or suicide

"after a lengthy illness"

OD or suicide

"unexpectedly"

OD or suicide

She was an angle in our mist. She didn't desserve to dye like that.

by Anonymousreply 52January 12, 2021 10:59 PM

I could see where you would think that, r48. It was more likely he was doing something stupid and lost control. God love him. He was nerd trying to be bad ass.

by Anonymousreply 53January 12, 2021 11:23 PM

Years ago a colleague died of pancreatic cancer. She hated her job but stayed on as long as she could for the coverage. We all knew how she felt about management because we all felt the same way. When she died management sent an email around telling everyone how much she loved her job and we all knew how many times she had meetings with HR about how shitty the place was. HR honestly believed what they put in that email.

by Anonymousreply 54January 12, 2021 11:29 PM

He was kind soul who loved all people - he was a racist who threw bricks at black people.

by Anonymousreply 55January 12, 2021 11:32 PM

The Kovid Konspiracy Kunt isn't dead (too goddamn bad) but she has some people snowed that she's a good person. The stupid people think that way anyway.

by Anonymousreply 56January 12, 2021 11:34 PM

Jesus. Some of you guys really don’t know how to do this thread.

by Anonymousreply 57January 13, 2021 12:00 AM

We're waiting for you to die R57 so we can talk about you.

by Anonymousreply 58January 13, 2021 12:01 AM

And you still don’t get it.

It’s about things people say about a recently dead person and what it actually means. Not stories of people who died (I have NO idea what the point was in Corvette boy’s story) or silly little anecdotes about cube fraus.

by Anonymousreply 59January 13, 2021 12:06 AM

His glass was always half full! = His first resort was denial and/or lying.

Don’t forget the faded senior year photo that was taken almost 50 years ago.

by Anonymousreply 64January 13, 2021 12:38 AM

He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

We finally got him out of the hospital and away from those nosy nurses, and put a pillow over his head!

by Anonymousreply 65January 13, 2021 12:39 AM

"Fun-loving" = Reckless driver, fathered children with both his wife and his wife's sister.

by Anonymousreply 66January 13, 2021 12:46 AM

Sorry about the length of corvette boy.

What was said (from post):

"Well, we always knew it would be something with Scott"

What was meant:

“We always knew he would finally fuck up in a big way”

I should have included that last part. Thought it was obvious.

by Anonymousreply 67January 13, 2021 12:51 AM

“She enjoyed her friends from all over the globe”

->

Bitch spent most of her time on Internet forums telling people how to behave.

by Anonymousreply 68January 13, 2021 12:53 AM

by Anonymousreply 74January 13, 2021 3:14 AM

by Anonymousreply 75January 13, 2021 3:23 AM

Outspoken and determined = if there's any justice she's shoveling shit in Hell as we speak.

by Anonymousreply 76January 13, 2021 4:03 AM

"Welp, that's what happens when you smoke!"

by Anonymousreply 77January 13, 2021 4:33 AM

R67–Don’t ever apologize to a Thread Scold. It only encourages them.

by Anonymousreply 78January 13, 2021 5:10 AM

‘He died doing what he loved to do.’

(He was a runner-up for the Darwin Award by walking to the edge of that cliff to take a selfie.)

by Anonymousreply 79January 13, 2021 5:49 AM

"Was a family man"

Fucked his wife's sister.

by Anonymousreply 80January 13, 2021 9:00 AM

“He was always very quiet and kept to himself.”

(He beat off a lot.)

“He was asexual.”

(He was a big fag.)

by Anonymousreply 81January 13, 2021 9:01 AM

A slight tangent, but thinking here of that congressman's kid who killed himself a week or so ago, where they put the weird sentence in about how "the girls just loved him" or he loved the girls or something like that.....

.....was a big cockjuggling homosexual

by Anonymousreply 82January 13, 2021 1:49 PM

"...her beautiful brown-eyed smile" - brings up a different image to me than what they meant!

by Anonymousreply 83January 13, 2021 2:41 PM

Devoted family man = happened to get his wife pregnant a few times and rarely left his recliner.

Had no friends or interests and got on his wife and children's last damn nerve.

by Anonymousreply 84January 13, 2021 2:57 PM

"Active in many local and national charities" - rich person who liked to go to parties and get their picture taken. Made some small token donations along the way.

by Anonymousreply 93January 14, 2021 1:30 AM
