Samantha was unaffected, sex positive, non-judgemental and laughed at herself.

Now we get to "enjoy" bitter neurotic Miranda, shallow neurotic Charlotte and selfish neurotic Carrie.

Samantha was, for the most part, a one-note character that would turn any comment into a sex joke.

However, I will always appreciate her statement "It's slim pickings out there. You can't swing a Fendi purse without knocking over five losers."

Tell a man “I hate you,” you have the best sex of your life. Tell him “I love you” you’ll probably never see him again.

R9, frankly, as a Bitter Neurotic myself, I always related most to Miranda. But Samantha WAS the eponymous sex in the city.
