I can't imagine they'll join the Democratic Party.
Will the Never Trumpers form a new political party?

The Trump election & presidency has been enough for most of them to know that there’s no place for them anymore I n their former party & have become Democrats. And they are welcome!!

Nope. The overall Republican plan since the 60/70s has worked. Drag the Republican party further right while demanding the Democrats make changes to their beliefs to allow them enough support to win, slowly forcing the left to the centre and then eventually to the right of centre until the moment comes where someone like Trump was elected so that even the progressives get desperate and vote a right of centre choice, such as the Biden/Harris ticket. For the next 20 years the Democrats will be what the republicans were and the choices of the real left will not be heard. Welcome to your new world America, the Republicans won.

If forming a new political party involves any work whatsoever, then no, Trump will not do the work. He's a pig. He just wants to stand on stage and have his ass licked. If these deplorables want their own party, one of them will have to step forward and organize it.
But they really have nothing around which to organize. They believe in nothing unless it's conspiracy theories and playing the victim over perceived but baseless injustices. They have no plans, no strategy and no agenda. They know nothing, and they certainly don't know issues.

R6 You've just outlined what they will organize around. That's enough for their party. He does not have to do anything per se. He's a lazy shit. Just kick him out of the GOP.

it would spell the complete irrelevance of the GOP

I think we need to get rid of parties and switch to issues voting. This everyon in a party voting in lock step bullshit is destroying the country and political discourse. Governance should not be run like a football game.
