I do block threads based on topic. If I have no interest in the topic, it saves me the trouble of scrolling past it; especially if it is something that is popular and always at the top of the page.

The yellow skin troll (I don’t understand what that is about). Also anything about some gruesome news story. And any trans thread (no judgment—just not interested). Also, twinks that are ‘famous’ only on Instagram, YouTube or Twitter. And the ‘down the shitter’ troll. And others.

The trump related threads, a few at a time is ok... but thread after thread after thread until there are thirty-plus active trump threads? Too much.

One of the earliest Hammermet stalkers was a mentally imbalanced psycho stalker who wanted sex with Hammer and/or Chalamet simply because they were willing to play gay roles in a high-profile film. They are hearthrobs and heroes to some li ely madman and therefore his. He may easily be the Mayor Pete Stalker because he professes his longing and deep hurt for not having him, stalks Buttigiegon social media and starts threads for every Google alert about the man.

Anyway, this lunatic filled up 13 threads with “gossip” about CALL ME BY YOUR NAME 2 years before it even opened. It was found that the threads were filled almost 100% by just four posters, and the Psycho Hammermet Stalker was talking to itself between sock puppet accounts.

One of the more unhinged demands was that CMBYN feature full-frontal nudity. The Psycho Stalker became enraged after the festival reviews came out and revealed there would be “no dong.” He spent the next year bitching about it and accusing CMBYN of depicting statutory rape and glorifying child abuse. Anyone who disagreed with those two opinions was harassed with child-like arguments from two of the sock puppets.

I bailed on that thread when the previews revealed CMBYN wasn’t exactly how Psycho Stalker wanted it and he became histrionic.

It also creeped me out that he was stalking these two actors on social media a year before the film came out and he’s still doing it.

A true maniac with nothing else to fill his life with.

I wish DL would go back to having subject categories, so you could just click on whatever category interests you. I think there there were usually only about three that I'd look at regularly. and there were others that I totally avoided altogether. I hate having to scroll through all the topics, especially since the search function really sucks now as well.
