Elizabeth Warren

Is she left in the dust?

by Anonymousreply 13November 23, 2020 7:36 PM

Of course she is. Nobody wants a lesbian, faux-Indian scold in their cabinet.

by Anonymousreply 1November 23, 2020 2:39 PM

She’s needed in the senate.

by Anonymousreply 2November 23, 2020 2:42 PM

R1, you mean the only one of the presidential candidates who actually has a track record of accomplishing anything: namely, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Yes, misogynists have a problem with her. Quelle surprise.

by Anonymousreply 3November 23, 2020 2:45 PM

What R2 said... the failure to take the Senate and the risks around replacement/appointment, make it trickier. Too bad... she would have probably brought out some real accomplishments... she's tireless (if a bit extreme) so the compromise probably would have still resulted in progress like we've never seen.

I like Elizabeth. If she’s left out I will be very disappointed.

by Anonymousreply 5November 23, 2020 2:57 PM

She is NEEDED in the Senate.

by Anonymousreply 6November 23, 2020 3:00 PM

She could always be at the front Desk at the Liberry of Congriss.

by Anonymousreply 7November 23, 2020 4:11 PM

Getting her approved by the Senate would impossible, Moscow Mitch would sit on that nomination for 4 years, then there is the question of her replacement by a Republican Governor and has anyone even asked her if she would want to be in the cabinet. She is her own boss now, why subjugate yourself to anyone else?

The answer to Moscow Mitch holding up nominations is for the Democrats to do exactly what the Dump administration did -- appoint "acting" directors. Time to fight fire with fire!

Or Georgia democrats can get their asses to the polls and vote like their lives depended on it.

I wonder who is coming to Pocahontas’ house for thanksgiving, or is she going virtual because she’s so weak and scared?

I am all for giving back to Trumpulicans what they did, but there is some question as to legal actions made by acting directors is, some action Chad Wolf did was just recently declared illegal by a judge because he was just an acting not confirmed director.

Keep her in the senate.
