Pete's a Rhodes Scholar. So was Bill Clinton. Any Republican politicians who were one?

Anyone can get into Harvard or another ivy with a rich daddy.

Republicans aren't very smart. Mostly c level state school graduates.

R1 and this is exactly why they want to keep the status quo; they can't compete with new blood. Just look at the crew at the WH -- the most utterly incompetent crew.

Republicans don't care. Most Americans don't care. We're clearly going to start electing reality stars after the Biden restoration period. I'm starting to realize how much I value not having children who will have to deal with it. Trump is just the first stage.

Bush (1&2), Yale.

Kerry, Yale.

Senator Richard Lugar of Indiana was a Republican Rhodes Scholar. So was Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana. So was Secretary of State Kris "The Anti-Christ" Kobach of Kansas

David Vitter.

Clinton is brilliant no doubt but being a Rhodes scholar from Arkansas ain’t exactly the Holy Grail...

by Anonymousreply 8Last Friday at 9:03 PM

Oh, r8 are Rhodes scholarships given to each state?

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Don't you just LOVE clicking on these things on every single site you visit? I know we do! You can thank the EU parliament for making everyone in the world click on these pointless things while changing absolutely nothing. If you are interested you can take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT and we'll set a dreaded cookie to make it go away. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
