The Kraken was a supercomputer housed at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee

In a joint project with the University of Tennessee. It was the sixth fastest in the world at the time, with a max processing speed of 606 teraflops (ok!)

It was decomissioned in 2014 and its current whereabouts are unknown.
