[quote] Della is NOT Black, [R147]. She was called on on that in another thread and finally admitted she wasn't.
In almost 20 years here, I've never claimed to be black, although I'd be very proud to say so. I've said the truth- "I'm not white." It's telling of your limited vision, r 147, that you either ignore, or are ignorant of, the existence of people of color, in addition to African Americans, who aren't white.
I'm an American Indian; a proud, enrolled official member of in Indigenous North American Tribe; there are 11 in Wisconsin. So no, I'm not white.
[quote] I don't ever remember Della claiming to be black. What's that about? Is she Rachael Dolezal now?
[quote] Is Della even a lawyer?
No, I used to be. I work in a related profession now. I am a proud alumnus of the University of Wisconsin Law School.
[quote] That's crazy. I always pictured Della as some blowsy white lady with a bad dye job.
Lol. I'd be proud to claim that, too.
I knew from the moment I arrived here, lurked a few months to "get" this place, and then joined-in, to stick to politics, current events and celebrities. I'm no frau. Except when the context of the topic specifically called for the info, I've stated I'm a straight female, and that was rare.
Oh, and if anybody owes an explanation and accounting for creepy, semi-stalky behavior, it's r131. I signed what they're referring to as "Anonymous". It was in the Were Your Parents in Love? thread.
Seriously, I've had a good-run attention whoring here as "Della". I used to be "Helena Handbasket" and then during the 2008 US Presidential run as "Della-Gette"
Now and for the past year, I'm posting more as Anonymous.
Go ahead, Flame Away, my haters. I've developed a pretty good flame retardant suit.
