An older friend and I were discussing how clubbing is not the same as it used to be in the late 80s & early 90s specifically. The world really had changed post 9/11 too.
As a fan of house music, I was asking her about some of the clubs from yester-year, and the stories she had left me longing for a nostalgia I've never experienced!! We're from NY so she spoke on the older clubs such as The Tunnel & Limelight. Funny enough, she didn't have any gay friends to tell me about experiences in the gay clubs.
We've talked here about Splash & other places closing down around NYC as those days are long gone. But what about from other parts of the country??? I enjoyed that D.C in the 90s thread, anybody else have cool stories from their partying days in the late 80s & 90s???
