Gays, what do you think of this TV stand?

It’s so cute!!! I was thinking of getting it. I think it’s adorable.

Be honest.

It's hideous. You have no taste.

by Anonymousreply 1October 24, 2020 6:14 PM

And what about this one?

Equally execrable. Go to Taste School.

by Anonymousreply 3October 24, 2020 6:17 PM

I love the first one, OP. It has a very 60s mid-century modern vibe.

by Anonymousreply 4October 24, 2020 6:18 PM

Mid-Century Modern is so over.

by Anonymousreply 5October 24, 2020 6:20 PM

R4 that’s how I feel! It has a retro 60s vibe, yet still modern. I find it so cute.

by Anonymousreply 6October 24, 2020 6:20 PM

Why don't you post where you found these OP? It helps to know more info about the products.

by Anonymousreply 7October 24, 2020 6:23 PM

I prefer the second one.

The first one would be fine as a one of a kind piece.

by Anonymousreply 8October 24, 2020 6:24 PM

They both look to be nice mid-century modern style pieces.

It's really hard to judge a piece of furniture from a photo, but I marginally prefer the first piece over the second, but the colors of the front doors may be trickier to integrate into overall colors of your room.

The second piece looks sturdy and neutral enough to coordinate with just about any room.

The first piece would be more of a focus of interest on a given wall, whereas, the second piece would draw less attention.

Also, I always check on the assembly required when ordering pieces online - some pieces are just too difficult to assemble yourself regardless of the other considerations.

OP - I like the stand. It’s fun. But don’t you think you may tire of that color pattern after a while? Would you still like it in 2-3 years?

by Anonymousreply 10October 24, 2020 6:27 PM

R9 the first one has VERY mixed reviews. The second has mostly good reviews.

The first looks beautiful in pics, but some say it’s cheap quality and many are complaining it showed up broken.

I always check on assembly also. Part of why I don’t buy IKEA etc. is the assembly is always ridiculous

Someone posted what it looks like

I would be concerned about having the same taste as the person who thought posting the pictures with that carpet was a good idea r12

by Anonymousreply 13October 24, 2020 6:36 PM

OP, quit trolling.

Besides, there is no need for a "TV stand" when you have a proper TV.

OP #1 only if the panels pop out and are reversible. In 5 months you’ll question your sanity for buying that pattern.

by Anonymousreply 16October 24, 2020 6:41 PM

I like this.

$123? What....? That’s weird.

by Anonymousreply 21October 24, 2020 7:51 PM

What is $123?

by Anonymousreply 22October 24, 2020 11:10 PM

That’s how much it costs r22.

by Anonymousreply 23October 25, 2020 2:32 AM

no. it's ugly.

by Anonymousreply 24October 25, 2020 2:48 AM

Tacky

by Anonymousreply 25October 25, 2020 3:27 AM

I do like R17.

by Anonymousreply 26October 25, 2020 4:41 AM

Your tv should be against a neutral surrounding/background. That pattern is too distracting.
