What you need to do at times is go to Settings and unclick the "Show Link Previews" then you will be able to watch the video.
For anyone who has issues seeing a particular video link and thinks it's a bad link, it's usually not:

Hon, they’ve been told a million times but still can’t figure it out. This is a futile exercise.

Can someone add a link so we can test this? Also, when you say 'unclick' do you mean un check the box?

R2, I just keep seeing people say it, so I figured its own thread could have them see how to fix the issue once and for all.
Yes, R3. UNCHECK, you stickler!

R4 good luck

But especially when posting the opening thread, a grey box will all but kill traffic and sometimes the best link to start that won’t show. I would like the paying customers to rally and threaten boycott until this is fixed. Can someone get on that please?

Some old fat psychobitches often say links aren't working because they only want to piss people off.

And the paying customers would like you to go fuck yourself.

You’re a nice man, OP.

I'm a paying customer and when I CHECK THE BOX for Show Link Preview, I get the preview, so I think you got it backwards, OP/r4/R3.
When I uncheck the box, I don't get the preview.

R10, yes, you see the preview when it's checked, but some people say that when they click on the video even when you see the preview, the screen goes grey or nothing plays and they think it's a bad link. The only way to get it to actually play for some people is if they uncheck the box in settings and see the link address/url

R11, you’re correct. I, too, am a paying customer. Someone posted a bunch of links (possibly the OP of this thread) and gave the same procedure. I honestly said “why would I uncheck link previews?!” but the link didn’t work otherwise. When I unchecked the box, they worked.
Go figure.

OP, if you have to go through all those step to open it, that's the definition of a "bad link."
