There’s always some tacky celebrity girl name that is trendy. Will the frauen commemorate their fallen comrade?
Will “ShanAnn” become a new frau favorite to name daughters?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 24, 2020 8:27 PM |
Nope, because the only people who are obsessed with this Chris Twatts bullshit are Marys in the DL.

I’m naming my son Thrive.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 23, 2020 12:49 AM |
I was thinking about naming myself ShanAnn, until that twat stole my thunder.

We ❤️ fraus!

Though it is an odd name, it's tasteless to continue making sport of this murder victim.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 23, 2020 1:50 AM |
She was a nut. Like the mom from Sharp Objects. She would have killed one of the kids eventually. Those poor girls were doomed. So sad.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 23, 2020 1:51 AM |
I doubt that she'd kill them if they'd lived but they would have grown-up to be total messes with her narcissism and Munchausen's.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 23, 2020 1:58 AM |
It’s such a beautiful name. Was it her given name?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 23, 2020 2:06 AM |
I’m sure elementary schools will soon be full of ShanAnns.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 23, 2020 2:07 AM |
All my kids are my huns!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 23, 2020 2:12 AM |
I love it
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 23, 2020 2:23 AM |
There was another pronunciation; her high school drama coach said she pronounced it “Shanna Ann”.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 23, 2020 2:28 AM |
Shanananananana is a great name
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 23, 2020 2:31 AM |
I could have sworn there was a hyphen or apostrophe in there somewhere, something to try and class it up maybe?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 23, 2020 2:32 AM |
What is the correct pronunciation?
Shan Ann? Shuh Nan? Sha Nan?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 23, 2020 2:50 AM |
I think the name is simply gorgeous
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 23, 2020 3:48 PM |
I am always amazed at the names in schools.
We have a lot of kids named “Colt,” “Colton,” “Ryder” and similarly hillbilly names. There’s a kid named “Kaine” in our school... and he has two bothers! One is named “Brogan.”
It’s like they WANT their kids to be unemployed nut jobs.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 23, 2020 3:53 PM |
Lots of kids with stripper and gay porn star names.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 23, 2020 4:11 PM |
I’ve run into a lot of Spanish speakers with kids with European/American names spelled phonetically (Vritni -Britney) (Llaisin -Jason)
Some of the Brazilian names are really odd, like Wellington and other names that are surnames in other countries.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 23, 2020 4:17 PM |
R19, I’ve met a bunch of Asians who take on weird English names as their “American” names: Beatrice, Ethel, Hampton, Romy, Heidi, Carmel, Sheldon.
Which reminds me of many old Jewish guys with the English surnames as first names: Irving, Sidney, Milton, Lawrence, Morris, Harold, Chester, Seymour.

Yeah I knew a girl named XIng Xiong who became “Stacey”

ShanAnn is a Native American name that means “overbearing frau”
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 24, 2020 1:46 AM |
It is pronounced “Shamalamadingdong” you RACISTS!
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 24, 2020 6:01 AM |
R24 Don’t you mean Frauist?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 24, 2020 6:04 AM |
Jesus I fucking hate that name.
I don't think she deserved to die because her parents gave her such a fucking idiotic name...
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 24, 2020 6:05 AM |
R26 I think her parents gave her a perfectly everyday name, but when she was on the run and wanted to hide her original identity possibly due to embezzling she decides to tart her name up with a fractured spelling and rephrasing how it was spoken and where the accent fell in it.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 24, 2020 6:18 AM |
I cracked up at the DLer who called her “ the last four syllables of the Family Ties theme song”
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 24, 2020 6:22 AM |
R26 Here. R27 Oh, well in that case, she absolutely fucking deserved it.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 24, 2020 6:24 AM |
They should have had Lind Lavin come and sing a scat version of her name at the funeral.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 24, 2020 6:25 AM |
It’s a flyover trash name and yes it’s kind of funny.
Call me a radical thinker, but I’m not 100% sure it’s a great idea for family to be making the argument that it’s ok to kill you because you’re fairly annoying.

She was from one of the Carolinas - that's Red Neck, Down south there is trailer trash. Her parents and his were from New Jersey originally. The average IQ of both clans is around 75. She was one of those pathetic woman who fell for a pyramid scheme and I think they both thought they were going to be wealthy and were living upwardly into debt. The pathetic loser that he messed with is another nut case who was sizing him up for a while before they got their groove on.

Has anyone from Nichole’s past come out to comment on her character? Family, friends, exes, co-workers? I find her more intriguing than the other players. What I know:
She lied to cops
Deleted evidence of all communication with Chris
Questionable google searches
Breast implants
Butch demeanor in interview
Strange cackling baby laugh in VM to Chris
Degree in geology
Changed her name - moved to Wisconsin (allegedly)
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 24, 2020 12:48 PM |
R33 Wait, I remembered Chris has been moved out of Colorado to another state’s prison to protect him was it Wisconsin? Is she still in touch with him and moved to be closer by him? Is she getting conjugal visits? One doesn’t need to be married for those right? If she is I bet she’s trying to get pregnant by him too. Crazy is as crazy does.

Her family seems to be originally from western PA by way of suburban NJ. Not redneck but not the height of sophistication either. NC is one of those places that attracts people who don't care that much about where they're going. Kudzu, surprisingly bad traffic and strip malls suit them fine.

Anglicized form of the Irish Seanán, which is a diminutive of sean (old, wise). Alternatively, Shannon can be a borrowing of the name of the longest river in Ireland. It is believed to be derived from the Gaelic sean (old) and abhann (river).
