She's a real cunt.

by Anonymousreply 1October 19, 2020 11:29 PM

He reminds me of Lindsey Graham.

by Anonymousreply 2October 19, 2020 11:31 PM

Imagine everything that's happened the last 4 years and concluding the real problem is having to pay more taxes

by Anonymousreply 3October 19, 2020 11:33 PM

Oh no!!! We just lost the untalented cunt who was shot 30 times demo!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 4October 19, 2020 11:36 PM

A closet case. Punch and delete her.

by Anonymousreply 5October 19, 2020 11:37 PM

Seems like there's more self-loathing Republican blacks now than during Dubya's reign of terror.

by Anonymousreply 6October 19, 2020 11:55 PM

How much are these rappers getting paid and by whom. I smell several rats.

by Anonymousreply 7October 19, 2020 11:57 PM

Maybe there will be a 50/Kirstie sex tape in the future?

by Anonymousreply 8October 19, 2020 11:59 PM

50cent @50cent · WHAT THE F*CK! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT, F*CK NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya fucking mind.

Why are so many Black men supporting Trump?

by Anonymousreply 10October 20, 2020 12:03 AM

r10 He's an OG and a wannabe strongman dictator; and people will be aware that green is a much more important color than black et al (the picture doesn't really work for me, because the color of money is not green in my country, but anyways).

by Anonymousreply 11October 20, 2020 12:17 AM

A significant minority of black men are attracted to Trump because he’s perceived as a ruthless gangsta. These black men tend to be misogynistic, narcissistic, and lovers of cruelty, and Trump makes them gleeful. They dislike all the people Trump and his followers dislike, except maybe blacks, and some of them even dislike other blacks. The Hotep movement is largely very proTrump because they hate the feminization of society and object to homosexuality.

by Anonymousreply 12October 20, 2020 12:22 AM

Speaking of gay rappers, is Diddy out now? His clothing label is running ads with "vote for LGBTQ" all over them.

[QUOTE]A significant minority of black men are attracted to Trump because he’s perceived as a ruthless gangsta. These black men tend to be misogynistic, narcissistic, and lovers of cruelty, and Trump makes them gleeful.

This is men in general, R12. Including white men who like Trump. You’ve just described why Latino men in Florida will help him win the state.

by Anonymousreply 17October 20, 2020 2:28 AM

As 50 Cent goes so goes da hood

by Anonymousreply 18October 20, 2020 2:30 AM

Ive spoken to a couple of black men who support Trump. For the most part, they hate the establishment that runs the American government, because they feel like the government has never truly helped them in their life. They see Trump as someone who can demolish the status quo because he does what he wants. Not that this is indicative of all black men's opinions on this matter. But black men in general have a very bad opinion of the government as whole. The tumultuous year we have had in America when it comes to treatment of black men probably has the distrust at an all time high.

by Anonymousreply 19October 20, 2020 2:33 AM

People mistakenly align BLM to the democratic party. There is no alliance to any party. I think the there was way too much pandering to the black community who don't give a fuck. Obama's success doesn't automatically rub off on Biden.

by Anonymousreply 20October 20, 2020 2:35 AM

50 Cent hasn’t been relevant since 2002.

by Anonymousreply 21October 20, 2020 2:35 AM

Isn't he more like 17 cent by now?

by Anonymousreply 22October 20, 2020 2:36 AM

r21 he produced the critically acclaimed show POWER that just ended a six year run this year, so unfortunately he is still relevant.

by Anonymousreply 23October 20, 2020 2:39 AM

He also had a recurring role on the show.

by Anonymousreply 24October 20, 2020 2:40 AM

50 Cent is a big deal. He's always been an unapologetic homophobe but young black voters look up to people like him and Kanye.

by Anonymousreply 29October 20, 2020 2:43 AM

I think Biden needs to replace those aviators with a pair of Yeezy's and change some minds.

by Anonymousreply 30October 20, 2020 2:44 AM

That is a really high tax bracket. Even if you make over 400k why do you have to give up 60% of it 39% seems reasonable. Hasn’t that been the highest?

by Anonymousreply 31October 20, 2020 2:55 AM

Not that I would vote for Trump if I made over 400k but I get the shock

by Anonymousreply 32October 20, 2020 2:57 AM

R31 People making $400,000 will NOT see their top rates be 60%. Are you purposely obtuse?

The top rate was 91% to pay off WW2. We have to STOP carrying water for the fucking rich. THEY WILL STILL BE FILTHY RICH PAYING HIGHER TAXES. Fuck. We’ll never get shit for the 99% of us who have been left behind by our obsession with the rich and keeping them happy.

Also it’s Rich that anyone would support Republicans and also feel the government doesn’t work for them. Yes, they’re going to support the party that’s made sure government doesn’t work for them. Or anybody. That’ll show em.

by Anonymousreply 33October 20, 2020 3:05 AM

If 50 cent endorsed Biden, would anybody notice?

by Anonymousreply 34October 20, 2020 3:08 AM

R25 is right. This a big deal. Media may not give it much attention, but the Black community will.

by Anonymousreply 35October 20, 2020 4:12 AM

by Anonymousreply 36October 20, 2020 4:16 AM

by Anonymousreply 38October 20, 2020 4:19 AM

Im reading the comments on urban sites now...very interesting comments saying he behaves like he always has, like a cold blooded drug dealer. Ready to sell out his own race for his own benefit. IMO that mentality has trickled down through the black community since slavery. In 2020 it just translates to class wars.

Well thankfully we have Vivica Fox check his ass, as per usual. I know she can't wait to rip him yet another new asshole on Fox Soul!

It is homophobic.

by Anonymousreply 52October 20, 2020 12:41 PM

Right. Because 50 Cent is soooo representative of the African American experience that he will immediately sway many of them to vote for Trump. In teh same way that all the white people base their vote on how the Wall Street bankers vote.

by Anonymousreply 53October 20, 2020 12:44 PM

R52, I don’t think it’s homophobic.

If someone is denying something, and there are people with irrefutable proof, those people should come forward, notwithstanding whatever it is.

If a politician is denying an extra marital affair, for instance, and the mistress knows she can disprove it, so we not let that information out?

Nobody is trying to make it a “gay scandal” as much as a hypercritical scandal.

by Anonymousreply 54October 20, 2020 12:49 PM

*hypocritical.

by Anonymousreply 55October 20, 2020 12:50 PM

I'm not sure this is likely to turn others into black Trumpers exactly. He even admits that Trump "doesn't like black people," and not that many black voters are going to be negatively affected by a tax increase on the wealthy...

by Anonymousreply 56October 20, 2020 1:00 PM

I don’t know it many black men will be swayed by 50, or Ice Cube, but it definitely makes it easier for black Trumpers to come out in support for Trump and opposition to Biden

by Anonymousreply 57October 20, 2020 1:09 PM

Don't forget ...there were actually some black men who fought for the Confederacy.

by Anonymousreply 58October 20, 2020 1:22 PM

Exactly. There is a minority of Black people who want to be on the side of the strong, the powerful. Some Black men like Trump because they perceive him as a ruthless Alpha. We need to really be honest about how attractive strongmen are to a huge percentage of Americans.

by Anonymousreply 59October 20, 2020 1:35 PM

And perceived is the operative word here. Trump may be "ruthless" but his macho man guy is all an act. Trump is the biggest pussy pansy to come down the pike in decades, a molly coddled, pampered, spoiled brat who whines and throws a temper tantrum if things don't go his way.

by Anonymousreply 70October 20, 2020 3:09 PM

Calling out gay people who actively work against gays is not homophobic in the sense you're trying to make it be. Just like asking hustlers Lindsey Graham has hired to share their experiences in public is not homophobic because Graham has very actively tried to make life harder for other gay people. It's a question of hypocrisy.

by Anonymousreply 88October 20, 2020 10:46 PM

You are rather cavalier about fascism

by Anonymousreply 89October 20, 2020 10:48 PM

Five of my cousins (all black men) are voting for Trump. They said they don't like weakness and that's what they think of the democratic party. They know Trump is an asshole, but they see the democratic party as the LGBTQ party, not in a bad way, but they don't want to be associated with it in that way. And they say Democrats aren't reaching out to them the way they do other groups. So their going with Trump.

They also felt Obama was a huge failure to them.

And their all business men too. So tax cuts are another thing.

by Anonymousreply 93October 20, 2020 11:13 PM

Is it an interesting phenomenon? Yeah, but don’t lose the sense of proportion or scale. That is super important. Black women BY FAR lead on Dem support. But Black men are the next demo in terms of Dem strength and its not really close. Its not like 40, 50, 60% of BM are GOP

That's the biggest line of crap I have ever heard. You need to call them out on that. "not in a bad way" is code for I dont overtly hate gay people I just don't care if they and you have no right, can be beat up or killed, and cant get married. But hey, Peace Brother! BLM but not gay ones.

Men’s entitlement runs as deep as their self loathing which is why the women they marry get lighter and whiter and they embrace the life of those who loath them.

by Anonymousreply 105October 21, 2020 12:26 AM

So basically these black men who vote for Trump are homophobes.

When Mayor Pete was running, everyone said behind the scenes that he will never get elected because of the homophobia in the black community. Then it change to just the older black community. Then it changed to not homophobia at all (how dare you accuse us of that) it was because he dared to fire a black police chief for BREAKING THE LAW. Then he wasn't experienced enough. Then he was like white Milk Toast which is racist by the way. Excuse after excuse after excuse with ZERO votes from the black areas LESS that TRUMP! Who as POTUS actually hurt the black community and stokes hate and violence. The only reason is pure homophobia.

I am not saying all people of color are homophobic or even most, that is ridiculous, but I think its time to call it out for what it is and acknowledge that homophobia is a big problem in the black community, and by that I mean more so than White, Asian or Hispanic minorities. There is a degree of it in every group but every group is not equally as homophobic. It's just not true. I am not playing "they are all the same" game.

Even Al Sharpton last week mentioned this homophobia problem on MSNBC. No I don't have a link, it was an off the cuff remark he made on air about something the black community needs to work on. You can Google it if you don't believe me.

This needs to be acknowledged and dealt with. That is all I am saying. Stop pretending it dose not exist.

by Anonymousreply 106October 21, 2020 12:43 AM

It’s more misogyny and eagerness to identify with the Alpha team than homophobia

by Anonymousreply 107October 21, 2020 12:45 AM

Correct, R107.

by Anonymousreply 108October 21, 2020 12:46 AM

Probably in major trouble with the IRS. Trump orders bill barr to settle for nothing if he endorses trump. This is a sign of not too much money and not being that bright. Hopefully, people can see through this.

by Anonymousreply 109October 21, 2020 12:50 AM

Like I give a shit who 50 Cent endorses.

by Anonymousreply 110October 21, 2020 12:52 AM

Bill Barr has nothing to do with the IRS, R109.

by Anonymousreply 111October 21, 2020 12:53 AM

r107 is correct, its not about homophobia. Shit, if you only knew how many brothers are DL in 2020! Like I said before black men generally have a bad opinion of the government, they want it shaken up. Things have not changed enough for them with Dems over the years.

by Anonymousreply 112October 21, 2020 12:58 AM

R93 is exactly why if you're gonna troll you need to be smarter. Like not being a drive-by poster posting pro-Trump shit on one and only one thread.

by Anonymousreply 113October 21, 2020 1:02 AM

Exactly R106. Black lives do matter, but fuck BLM. They do not care about gay people.

Black people hate everything about white people and their lives...until they get money. Black people with money don't stay and improve their neighborhoods if they are from the hood. The move to the whitest, richest enclaves they can find. They often have white spouses. OJ Simpson in the classic example and a primarily black jury acquitted him despite all the evidence. A poster about mentioned that there is a lot of self loathing in the black community. American democrats have made this whole election about black Americans, let BLM have the run of major cities with no consequences, but people don't give a fuck. I think it's time the black community took a very hard look in the mirror to see want their own contribution to their problems might be. It's not all whitey, I'm afraid.

by Anonymousreply 114October 21, 2020 1:03 AM

Shut up

by Anonymousreply 115October 21, 2020 1:12 AM

r114 I think the BLM movement is a different discussion. The people supporting BLM are extremely diverse. I believe the protests this year started with the police brutality issue, but it ended up being a revelation for many people that they were tired of being treated like shit by the wealthy and elite.

People like 50 Cent ARE that segment wealthy and elite. His lawsuit with Teairra Mari is a perfect example of how he treats his own race and women like garbage. Donald Trump would definitely approve.

Incredible. Shall we run down the list of white celebrities who have endorsed Trump and the GOP agenda compared to the few token black ones? Were you crying about “homophobia in the white community” when Jon Voight came out and endorsed Trump? I mean Trump literally would not be in the White House right now if it wasn’t for white people. There wouldn’t soon be a 6-3 rightwing majority on the Supreme Court that will overturn gay marriage if it wasn’t for white people. The Republican Party wouldn’t EXIST if it wasn’t for white people. When are you going to call for us to start addressing homophobia in the white community?

by Anonymousreply 119October 21, 2020 1:37 AM

Homophobia is a huge problem in the black community. I think the LGBTQ hitched their wagon to their movement this summer as a reason to get out of the house. I think when white protesters join in, their real anger is at Trump and that is really what they are protesting. That's not what BLM is protesting.

by Anonymousreply 120October 21, 2020 1:38 AM

There has been A LOT of talk about Black men re Democratic support. I think the convo has gotten kind of out of wack. Black men still support Democrats at rates of ~80%+, which is far higher than every American demographic except Black women. This is not an anti-Dem group!

That's BS. If that were the case they would have been all over Bernie Sanders instead of Trump. Sanders is and was more skeptical of the government than Trump. Trump promised to be Republican party line all the way. And if you look at the judges he appointed, that's exactly what he did.

Republicans like "strong" men because they have a Daddy complex. I am not making this up, there have been several book written on the subject. They want a Daddy to tell them what to do, what's right what's wrong and to punishing bad behavior. The world is black and white, good and evil, not shades of grey or something you should have to figure out on your own.

[quote] There has been A LOT of talk about Black men re Democratic support. I think the convo has gotten kind of out of wack. Black men still support Democrats at rates of ~80%+, which is far higher than every American demographic except Black women. This is not an anti-Dem group!

Exactly! The vast majority of black men and women will vote Democratic. No other group supports the Democratic Party at similar rates. The white majority will vote to re-elect Trump. Thirty percent of Asians and Hispanics will vote Republican.

This is just another thread where datalounge’s white supremacists expose themselves. If you are looking for someone to “blame” for Trump. Look at your own families and neighborhoods. That is where you will find the Trump supporters.

by Anonymousreply 142October 21, 2020 7:10 AM

by Anonymousreply 143October 21, 2020 7:15 AM

Your theory is flawed R142. Non college educated whites vote for him because they have something to gain, or think they will gain. Asians vote for him for the same reason. Hispanics, mainly Cubans vote for him because he dose not treat them like Mexicans. Blacks get treated like shit with him. The only token black on his team was Omarosa! Black men love of Trump should be way down like in the 5% range.

[quote] None of my family or friends are Trumpeters. You are projecting [R142]. I purged the few who were like that long ago before someone like him was even elected.

The white majority put Trump in office and will vote to re-elect him. Whether you choose to acknowledge them or not. They are your neighbors, acquaintances and somewhere down the line relatives. They are where the blame should be directed.

by Anonymousreply 145October 21, 2020 7:25 AM

Why are the majority of black fathers deadbeats? That is systemic problem in the black communities.

Anyone who is not rich and votes Republican is voting against their own economic interests. All middle class and poor people (the majority of the country) has been treated like shit by Trump. Regardless of race they all feel that they have something to gain. What is flawed is the white supremacist prism through which you are attempting to interpret voting patterns.

[quote] Nope. EVERYONE who voted for Trump is to blame. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem.

The math tells a different story. And perhaps you need to direct your comments to the person above who initially mentioned the word “blame” and assigned that “blame” to a population that gave Trump 8% of their votes. You and the other idiot above were okay with blame being assigned to black people. (Whom you feel are not entitled to the same options as yourselves.) Yet, you are offended by that blame shoe being put in the white communities foot.

This type of white supremacist cluelessness is exactly why Trump is president and why he may potentially win a second term.

by Anonymousreply 148October 21, 2020 7:39 AM

1. To which current Democratic “administration” are you referring?

2. White women are the largest beneficiaries of affirmative action. White men have benefited from affirmative action through white women.

3. The overwhelming majority of white males will continue voting Republican for the zero sum delusions to which you obviously subscribe. The majority of poor and middle class white males will continue to vote against their own economic interests and they will continue to watch their quality of life deteriorate.

by Anonymousreply 194October 24, 2020 12:05 AM

From CNN:

"If you're a Republican presidential candidate, you recognize that most Black people aren't going to vote for you. But the most likely segment of Black people to vote for you is Black men, and a particular sort of Black man," Johnson told CNN. "It wasn't surprising that after Trump became the President-elect, a parade of Black men -- celebrities and athletes including Steve Harvey, Ray Lewis and Kanye West -- went into Trump Tower. If you're a Black man and a celebrity or an athlete, that usually means that the money you have is new and that you grew up either poor or working class."

How Trump speaks to Black Americans says a lot about his vision for the country Johnson believes that there's something about this brew of economic security, hypermasculinity and bootstrap self-determination -- "he has accomplished so much almost all by himself," Walker says of the President in a spot airing on Black radio stations -- that can make Trump resonate with some Black men. In 2016, 13% of Black men who voted cast their ballots for Trump. For Black women, this figure was a meager 4%. (Notably, men of every race supported Trump more than the women of that race did.)

I asked a young black male friend if he had voted yesterday, and he said no because he has reservations about Biden after the debate. He says he is upset Biden sponsored the Crime Bill and never really has done much for black people. I tried to explain to him the historical context of the bill and that Biden said it was a mistake. I said at least Biden is trying to learn and grow on racial issues. I asked him how he can forget all the blatant racist stuff Trump has done and be swayed by Trump talking points.

by Anonymousreply 237October 25, 2020 8:16 PM

[quote]. I asked him how he can forget all the blatant racist stuff Trump has done and be swayed by Trump talking points.

His answer?

by Anonymousreply 238October 25, 2020 8:20 PM

He nodded in agreement. He didn’t vote in 2016 because he didn’t like Hillary. He is so easily swayed by media and his conservative friends. I’m trying to nudge him

by Anonymousreply 239October 25, 2020 8:26 PM

R237, a lot of young people don’t realize how bad many inner city areas were in the 80’s and early 90’s. Crack was a scourge and a lot of people in the black community supported the crime bill. Looking back, clearly it did immeasurable damage, but the reasons behind it should be better understood.

Also, R210, Kobe didn’t support of vote for Trump in 2016. He just saw the (unfortunate) writing on the wall.

by Anonymousreply 240October 25, 2020 8:37 PM

Who gives a shit. Trump is still going to lose. They can vote for whoever the fuck they want, it won't make a difference. Black men are not a major voting bloc.

by Anonymousreply 241October 25, 2020 8:41 PM

Black men certainly can cost Biden the election like they (and others) did in 2016

by Anonymousreply 242October 25, 2020 8:59 PM

R242, come on, put the blame where it should be. White men and white women are the ones who voted overwhelmingly for Trump in 2016 and are the reason he is president.

by Anonymousreply 243October 25, 2020 9:48 PM

You're being rather loose with the word "overwhelmingly". Trump won a majority of those who white voters without a college education, not an overwhelming majority. Funny, how black people hate being stereotyped as being all the same, but do the same thing to white people.

by Anonymousreply 244October 25, 2020 10:19 PM

I doubt 50 cent can even vote

He's a convicted felon. And of course he loves trump, they've both declared bankruptcy a few times

by Anonymousreply 250October 25, 2020 10:42 PM

Love all you fuckers having hate for a black man having his own opinion, independant of what you think a black man's opinion should be. You're most likely all hypocritical Biden supporters--a man who supported DOMA & Don't Ask Don't Tell, supported segregation, supported the '94's crime bill, lost the '88 Dem nomination for president because he was caught plagerising another politician 's speech, said he'd be hard pressed to buy a slurpee from someone who wasn't Mid-Eastern, and who's running mate believed the women who claimed he'd harrassed them until she got his phone call to run on his ticket. Also, let's not forget the numerous gaffes against blacks over the years. Go ahead, respond with a list of Trump's bad behaviors because that's all you have for defense & because it always makes your shit show look like the fucking Ice Follies.

by Anonymousreply 251October 25, 2020 10:57 PM

R244, I wasn’t stereotyping anyone. If you want to ding me for use of the word “overwhelmingly”, fine. Fact, the majority of white voters went for Trump in 2016. Fact, the overwhelming majority of black voters went for Hillary in 2016.

by Anonymousreply 252October 25, 2020 11:00 PM

Not helping.

by Anonymousreply 253October 25, 2020 11:05 PM

And why wouldn’t that be the best defense r251? Were voting for the best candidate not the perfect candidate.

Plus, people evolve politicians included. Biden can admit that and he’ll also cop to having made mistakes. Because he’s a grown up.

by Anonymousreply 254October 25, 2020 11:09 PM

R254...No, it just shows a long personal history of doing whatever's convenient & advantageous whenever it's required, then claiming "Ooopsie, my bad" after the fact. I'm no Trump supporter, but Trump is not a career politician. Biden is. Biden has played the game every step of the way & wants a pass for the times he hadn't "evolved" yet. An ethical politician does what's right regardless of the current political climate or how much of a disadvantage it may be. That is not Biden, but that is the ground he'd like voters to believe he stands upon.

by Anonymousreply 255October 25, 2020 11:25 PM

50 CENT is rich and continues to make lots of money. My opinion, he's voting for himself and for his savings. I believe his politics are based on 50 CENT's bank account, not on anything else. It seems to me with his money, 50 CENT is so shielded and protected from the day -to -day problems and concerns other people face that he doesn't care about anything other than protecting his wealth.

Reason, Taxes!

These people are going to find out when the country falls apart under Trump, because all you cared about was lower Taxes. And everything else goes to shit, those tax cuts aren't going to be so enjoyable after all. Because there won't be a functioning country to live in to enjoy those riches.

If there's no jobs, and people are making money, they won't be making much money either. Then what?

There's more to life and this country then low taxes. These people better wake the fuck up.

These are the same kind of guys that take all that money and build shitty McMansions with over sized basketball courts and sound studios no other buyer would want. They don't care what other people think. They don't bother to higher real architects or learn about architecture, they usually just higher a builder/developer who will do anything they want. Then it ends up looking like a cheap house in the valley with 16 rooms. They always lose their shirt when they go to sell. 20 million dollar houses should actually look like 20 million dollar house not a giant tract home.

They also foolishly believe the value of the house goes up with their name. LMFAO It's been proven time and again when it comes to real estate, 99% of the buyers do not care to pay more for that privilege.

Trump support with Black men is highly overstated, mainly by racists looking to drive a wedge in the liberal coalition but also by people who just don't know better and believe anything they read online.

Support for Trump with black men has gone from about 14% in 2016 to about 20%. Not a seismic shift. More than 3 in 4 black men are still voting against Trump so saying the group generally supports him is just factually incorrect.

Also more than 60% of white men support Trump. So if your take is that 20% of black men voting for him is proof black people are homophobic than you necessarily believe all white people are much more homophobic. Obviously both those takes are nonsense

by Anonymousreply 292October 29, 2020 8:35 PM

R290 it's not. Almost every other demographic group: women, seniors, white people, has moved moved more since 2016. Again if 20% of black men is enough for you to criticize all black men then I'm very curious what you think about white men since about 60% of them support Trump.

In fact the *only* group that support Trump less than black men is black women.

R300 may be right and he still votes for Trump privately, but he's just one person. What's much more important is what he tells his millions of followers to do, and he's recanted his Trump support to them.

A major poll came out today. It's used by political scientists for a lot of post election analysis every for years. It's sample size is 51,000 likely voters compared to the 1000-1600 size polls we usually get. They have Trump's black support at 9% (In 2016 it was 8%). by Anonymousreply 326November 2, 2020 12:35 PM

by Anonymousreply 331November 2, 2020 4:28 PM

R331 again, it depends on your state. In many states you can get your voting rights back after a conviction. In some states that process happens automatically after X number of years even if you never file for it. I think only Iowa actually doesn't let you vote again ever and there's no recourse possible

by Anonymousreply 332November 2, 2020 5:14 PM
